When taxi dropped us of and we entered the main reception area, we thought WOW! this looks far better that all hotels stayed in so far on our trip ( Venice and Paris) but what a disappointment when we got to our room. While nicely...More
Genuinely was a great hotel pre olympics. Now rooms are really small. Hotel closes at 1am and you are sent to your room if you want a beer, they deliver it there. Very difficult if on business and working late as rooms the size of...More

The rooms are very small and odd shaped. It's very hard to maneuver in the bathroom. Also, London is a World Class city, but this hotel's internet speed(s) and connection is comparable to a Third World connection (AWFUL)!!!!
Booked an executive club package. Terribly disappointed! No club at all, no club lounge, no special room or amenities. Do not stay in this place... A ripoff and no special benefits. So wifi was included. Big deal. Why pay 50 punds extra for that?

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
