Just stayed here for a night and could not have been happier with every aspect of my stay. Courteous staff, excellent service, very good breakfast served in a charming room on the first floor overlooking the square, quirky room with a very large bathroom which had its own window. Location is great: very convenient for the Gatwick express which comes...

This is a great option in Chelsea area. The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood, safe, clean and convenient. The underground station is locate 50 meters away, from here you can travel anywhere in London. Restaurants, bars and high end stores are at walking distance. The hotel itself is clean and cozy. Beds are comfortable but not many...

We stayed here for one night in room 226. Room very small but well laid out, with small bathroom. We had everything we needed though and it was very clean. Trompe L'oeil on walls adds a little quirkiness which is great. Shower worked very well. Breakfast was included and continental but was enough and was served in the bar/cafe. The...

We stayed here for 3 nights over Easter and cannot fault the locations of the hotel, which is near Sloane Square tube station, which is itself only one stop from Victoria. Having flown in to Gatwick, this was a big plus. Getting around the city was also very easy from this location. The hotel in general was lovely, with clean,...

Stayed here for a celebration night in London, this time in spring rather than Christmas season. The hotel does not disappoint, probably because of the excellent service, location and pretty, cosy rooms. We love the little bar/breakfast area overlooking the square, and are always made to feel very welcome. It's a lovely part of London, and easy walking distance to...

We had another lovely stay at the hotel. Great location for shops, restaurants, gallery and tube. Enjoyed the new fitness suite and visited the bar, which looks out over the square. The room was cosy and clean.

Stayed here for one night. Really nice welcome from the reception. Room was very tiny, with one small bed and the entrance to the shower was really minimal. Room was super clean though and quiet. Must say that the wifi was one of the best i have ever had in a hotel!

This is my overnight second stay at this hotel. This time I booked a single room, which was small, but had everything I needed. I was asked if I would like to upgrade to a larger room, so could have if I had wanted to. It was a lovely quirk that the bathroom was split level - and a very...

This hotel was cute and very close to a tube stop. It is only a short 10-15 minute walk to Harrod's. The room was a bit small for price but hey, it's London.... everything is somewhat expensive. The service was great and beds comfy. The shower??? TINY! I had to step sideways to get in and out. But I would...

Staying in Belgravia

Neighbourhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sloane Square was designed in 1771 and named after Sir Hans Sloane (1660 – 1753). The property has been a 4 star hotel since 1900. Chelsea has always been at the heart of fashionable London and became world famous during the 1960s as the centre of swinging London. In fact the Beatles frequently stayed in the hotel which was then called The Royal Court. In 2005/6 the hotel was completely renovated and reopened as Sloane Square Hotel. We are very proud to be an independent, privately owned hotel which reflects the individual character of the property and personal guest service. ... more   less
