Half a dozen of us stayed here on business. The outside of this hotel does not do it justice as it is above a petrol station.
Do not let this put you off as inside is very nice and staff attentive. Location is ideal for...More
It’s true when people say don’t judge a book by its cover, especially with this hotel. On the outside it doesn’t even look like a hotel with a garage directly underneath it, it looks like outdated flats.. but then you step inside and you start...More

For the price range, you won't do better for location, food or standard of service. Overlooking Hyde Park. 250 metres from Queensway tube. 20 minute walk to Oxford street. 15 minute walk to Paddington.

If you mean Hyde Park/Kensington Garden then the entrance is just over the Bayswater Road, use any of the gates, so walking to the park entrance is just 2 or 3 minutes from the hotel. If you mean Covent Garden, take the tube. It's just up the road, along Bayswater Road, about 10 min walk. There probably is a bus, but tube is quicker. Visitor Oyster card is ok if you are doing a couple of trips, but you have to apply and it costs a fiver I think, or you can use any UK bank contactless card (single trip paying cash is £4.60, using contactless its £2.40 -Nov 2017)
