Stayed in a Studio for a week and it was a pleasant experience. Booked direct and managed to get an early check-in as an ASR Silver member. Check-in was a breeze and the front desk agent went over the property, including the weekly housekeeping, complimentary Grab & Go breakfast for being Silver, along with the additional amenities located in the Laundrette. The serviced apartment building was secure, requiring a key card to enter the lobby along with the lifts. My studio facing the rear was very quiet and featured air conditioning which was perfect for the heatwave where it got up to 30C during the day... The studio was compact with usable water pressure in the handheld shower. There was a bottle of body wash cum shampoo along with a mini bar of soap inside the loo. The closet featured a digital safe along with an extra blanket and ironing board. The kitchen was fully equipped with crocket, hood, convectional oven, and mini fridge. There was also a glass bottle of water along with a small biscuit on the kitchen counter upon entry. The staff also left a personalized computer typed note welcoming me along with a few mini packs of Jelly Bellies, a nice touch. The TV featured mainly British channels with little to no International Business channels that I could locate. There was also Chromecast that was integrated with the TV. The bed was comfortable with a relatively firm mattress. The windows were able to be opened and would disable the A/C. Wifi was complimentary and reliable The Laundrette in the basement was scheduled using the app and had wipes next to the washing machine. A £5 load of laundry includes detergent and conditioner dispensed from the machine. The dryer was £4/load. Reservations for the single set of machines are done via the WeWash app. There's also a laundromat directly across the street too. The serviced apartment was very close to the Barbican tube station, a mere 3 minute walk. There are also grocery stores, cafes, and barber shops along the way to the station too. The complimentary Latte machine in the lobby was convenient!

We just had a 3 night stay in a delux studio and it was great. The bed was comfortable, the apartment was clean and the staff were helpful. The location for us was perfect too as it was just a stroll to St. Paul’s cathedral and the Thames. We have stayed before and we will stay again

The rooms are basic but well equipped. Kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, toaster and essential crockery & cutlery. The beds are very comfortable. The shower just about had enough pressure. The rooms are changed once a week but you can get service if requested. The rooms are quiet ( I was on the 7th floor at the back). Key card security access It’s a 5 minute walk to Barbican underground station and 10 minutes to St. Paul’s Cathedral. No maintenance at the weekends, which isn’t great if you have a problem with the room.

A clean friendly hotel a few minutes walk from Barbican underground and the Barbican centre. Stayed here as close to a show I was seeing and nice to be in a convenient location. Room was clean and spacious with a fridge and tea making facilities. Staff were friendly and luggage could be left for the day. Would definitely consider staying again and recommend.

When i arrived i was greeted by a happy smiling receptionist who dealt with check in quickly and efficiently. My room was clean, spacious and as it was at the back of the hotel no traffic noise. One of the best nights sleep in a London hotel. A great hotel for my trip to the Barbican as a short walk away. will stay again

I stay here quite regularly as it’s well placed for business meetings in the City. Studios are well designed and equipped and always very clean. Staff on reception friendly and efficient. However on my first visit since Covid “hit” saw an understaffed reception (just one young and rather anxious chap), no hot water in my room, and eventually having to move room late in the evening to a room with very noisy plumbing. No apologies on either front. And to top it all the on-site Cafe still closed but no notice of this or reduction in room rate. I’ll certainly have to reconsider this being my “go to” hotel when I’m in town. A shame.

Very pleasant and welcoming receptionist and we were happy to find a clean and well appointed room. So quiet as promised and we slept well on a comfortable bed. My only comment is that the room could do with a sofa but otherwise perfect for a night in the city. TV reception was a bit iffy but then why watch TV when in london. (We just wanted to catch up with the Olympics). Good value and well worth booking.

My husband was having a hole in the heart closed at St Bartholomews which is just an 8 minute walk away. We booked for two nights, the night before surgery and night after. The staff were so very helpful and welcoming, they could not do enough for us. The apartment was perfect and had everything you would need and more. Topped off with Tesco just down the road. Would definitely recommend this chain, even in lockdown, and would definitely use again.
