The most important part of a trip is to have a good time in the place that will be your home. In Cumberland Hotel, Carolina Guarín and Julia Oliver had made my stancy a real familiar experience. Like my home. Thank you.

Everybody working at this hotel are sweet, friendly and nice Hotel is perfectly situated for shopping, running and walking (Hyde Park just opposite) and dining. Nice restaurant at the hotel. I will definitely come back. Only drawback is the bathroom, where the plumber or the carpenter may not have been so lucky. But nice room anyway:)

If you get the chance to go to the rooms facing oxford street, go for it! they are the best! Overall, I like this hotel, close to Marble Arch Station. Some rooms (towards the side street) are not well lit and I would not recommend these ones (single rooms).

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
