Conveniently located just around the corner from Marble Arch tube. Clean, comfortable, looks to have been refurbished fairly recently. Room rates booked via website were pretty good value for central London over Easter holidays. Shame the same can't be said of the bar prices. £4.10 for a hot chocolate and £3 for a small glass of coke, plus a 12.5%...

Celebrated New Year's Eve in Central London and stayed in The Cumberland, which is a short walk from Marble Arch underground station. The hotel was tastefully decked out and gleaming for the festive season. The staff were really helpful. Everything worked that should work. WiFi reception was excellent. We had an Executive suite and it was the size of an...

The hotel is very good from the location reason. But in very strange area. It's beginning of Oxford St., close to Hays park. The room had view as very old, and without repair. Water in a bath stated a lot of time. In minibar were two small bottles with mineral water and one was open. Lifts did not work prperly

Had a lovely couple of days here. Efficient reception staff, nice to be able to drop bags off before check in. Lovely room, with views down Park Lane and over Marble Arch. Comfortable bed and good pillows, everywhere nice and clean. Nespresso machine which was nice. The buffet breakfast was good as ever. Plenty of choice and constant replenishments. The...

Well, it did not really meet my expectations. The location is wonderful, right off Oxford street and one stone’s throw away from the subway (or Underground, as it is named here!). The staff was wonderful, always very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good; a great selection of juices, cereals, continental and English breakfast in selected corners which makes it...

They have an omelette station! I appreciate a included breakfast when I'm sightseeing, it saves some money and also means I can start planning what sites I want to see, not where I'm going to eat. Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
