I had been in London at meetings throughout the day. Trains were cancelled due to an accident so I needed to find somewhere to stay. Hotels around London Euston and Kings Cross were full so I reverted to the internet to find something as close...More
This hotel is literally a stone's throw away from Bayswater tube station and about 5 minutes' walk to Marble Arch station.
Other than the location, there was nothing which i liked about the hotel.
The shower temperature was either too cold or too hot and...More
Disgusting!!! We didn’t have many expectations. A clean and dry room would have been totally enough. They gave us a room in the basement which was cold, dark and musty. The carpet was dirty. The staff was working just next to our room so it...More
I love this little gem. Other reviewers lament about how it is tired looking and needs a refresh. I like to focus on what makes this hotel great. We booked the Eden suite and were very pleased. Very comfortable bed and couch. Fantastic extras like...More
Location close to the tube in a beautiful building. A lot of stairs, small flights and long flights, a step at my door, and yes I tripped over it more than once.

As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an
experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

I stayed there... it's not great. I couldn't even get drinking water. That's just mad for the UK! We have great, clean water from taps so it's something to be said if they can't get you a glass of water. Rooms were tiny, corridors smelt like fish! If you are coming from Australia and you stay here please don't base your experience on the rest of the Uk!!
