The Park Room does a very nice tea. The hotel rooms.... ... This is a historic hotel, so the rooms vary widely. Some nice, some not....

I attended an industry event at the Grosvenor, with 1500 of us sitting for dinner. The food was beautiful - from the cheese and artichoke tart, mushroom and truffle soup, to the beef Wellington, to the spicy mandarin cheesecake.. all presented delicately and with wonderful flavours. Most impressive of all however was the service... prompt and attentive - both in...

Stayed there twice over a period of a week: the first time got a large king room with an older traditional look, second time got upgraded to a really lovely suite with a more contemporary feel. Great service, location, really nice executive lounge and a wonderful gym with two rowing machines! Expensive, but then what can you expect for a...

Considering the very high cost of the rooms even with a discount this was very average accommodation. Twin beds pushed together for single occupation were quite comfortable as were the pillows. Tea and coffee tray, safe and 2 bottles of water included but other snacks extra. Bathrobe and slippers included for use in your room. Bathroom quaint but tired and...

Very nice Marriott and rooms were especially cozy and well appointed. The atmosphere was very pleasant and always felt safe in the area of town it is situated. We appreciated the elite lounge for breakfast and snacks.

A lovely venue but over zealous and threatening security team (not just one of them but most of them) made it a horrid experience for us at a recent awards evening. Ridiculous H&S as well which is what much was blamed on. Apparently someone walking with a laptop bag is a hazard and they had to go a long way...

Great hotel in Park lane, super nice location, luxury environment, and very nice people, working for exceeding customer expectations. The hotel has a nice fitness center, and a nice steak house restaurant. I will come back.

I recently attended an awards ceremony at this hotel. The hotel itself is in a lovely location and is beautifully appointed. There are plenty of helpful staff to cater to your needs. There are several bars where you can enjoy drinks but it is very expensive. The ball room is absolutely stunning and was a great place to party! Food...

Visit every year. Always top notch! Excellent service. Everyone really ties hard to make it memorable. My husband and I have stayed at all 3 superior London Marriott Hotels over the years: the other Park Lane and the one located just down from Oxford Street that has the "Luggage Room." We have had exceptional experiences in all 3, but our...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
