Great hotel in a nice quiet area but still close to the metro station. Room (executive) and bathroom are clean and spacious. All employees are welcoming and friendly. London Lodge Hotel presents a good value for money. We will be happy to come again.

I highly recommend London Lodge Hotel. The room (executive room) is large enough compared to London Hotels. The bathroom is very nice also. You can reach to Picadilly line and District Line metro station in 10 minutes walk maximum. The Hotel is very close to shops and restaurants however it is on a very quite street. Breakfast is very good...

I visited the hotel as I was attending Recruitment Expo at Olympia, 21st/22nd February. The hotel was very pleasant and clean. My check-in experience was very good indeed and on arrival I was upgraded to a superior double. The room was very clean and I was offered fresh tea and or coffee on arrival too. Breakfast was also very good...

The location and price are both excellent, the hotel is clean and comfortable but what really made a difference was the friendliness off the staff. Really helpful and accommodating. The area is also much quieter than expected being so close to Earls Court. The room isn't huge, but quite sufficient and certainly not claustrophobic. It was nice to have a...

Clean, comfortable, quaint with wonderful staff. This is my favorite place to stay in London. It is also a short walk to a couple of different Underground stations, shopping, and tons of restaurants. The location and price can't be beat.

At first glance the hotel looks very nice. It's a typically hotel for this area. City villa into hotel. Take a double room if you need space. The staf is very friendly. As all east Europeans are friendly. The beds are to short for the average dutch. Diagonally was a must. @ management. Give the cleaning staff more time for...

I've stayed at the London Lodge 4 times in the past couple of years and enjoy staying there. I like the free Continental breakfast - more food offered than I eat at home. The location is great; an easy 5 minute walk to the Earl's Court Tube; good restaurants to eat at and my favorite pub, The Hansom Cab is...

One of the unassuming, back-street, townhouse hotels, that London is slowly loosing to residential developers (The much loved Vicarage hotel, also in Kensington, closed 2 years ago). I appreciated the offer of tea in my room on arrival, and the morning newspapers in the breakfast room, and the availability of evening meals. The street it's on is very quiet, and...

We had a very nice stay at the London Lodge Hotel. The staff was friendly, rooms were great and the breakfast was good as well. Our room was on the 4th floor, and had very nice sun light. Overall I can really recommend this hotel.

The room was surprisingly spacious by European standards and the beds were comfy. The tv was quite small, but you are on vacation! No tv watching right? Also as it was a girls trip, we found the lack of outlets very cumbersome. We found ourselves constantly unplugging something in order to use or charge something else and trust me we didn't...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
