A great hotel right next to the Tower Hill underground station. Pretty good breakfast, and good service at the front desk. A very professional staff, that always is there to help you. I'll recommend a stay at the Novotel Tower Bridge Hotel.

Close to the Tower Bridge and Tower of London, we walked along the river where street performers were so much fun. We also used the nearby "tube station" to...

The room had issues. Sink drain clogged frequently. Had to complain several times. It was addresses but left a bad odor. Shower drain also clogged and again had to complain multiple times before it was addressed. The mirror vanity light went out after my first night which left the bathroom rather dark. This was never addressed despite repeated complaints. It...

The hotel was clean and the rooms really nice. The staff were really kind and helpful. The reception staff in particular took time to talk to my 12 year old son about his interests and were really friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
