This hotel is in a good location which is why I rated it so highly. It is directly behind the Tower of London. The tube station is right around the corner and there is also a bus stop close by. The hotel itself is average. I stayed here with my family of 4. The room was small, but the hotel...

We were on our way back to the states and stayed one night in London. This Novotel is one block from the Underground station, and two blocks to the Tower of London. It was so easy to just walk around and see things from this location. The room was modern and well prepared. There was a good selection of tv...

Stayed for one night July 7th. Room really bright and airy. Bed was comfy but the pillows were a bit flat. Nice deep bath and excellent shower. Towels were fluffy and soft. Restaurant was fine and service really fast and friendly, food was good. My only complaint was the music coming in from the bar area was not appropriate. Would...

Rooms clean, generous space, and well stocked with all that you need. We would stay there again for sure! Very kid friendly too!

Hotel was really close to attractions such as london tower bridge and the Tower of london and was in the heart of the city. You could walk to lots of things. We spent the last nights of our UK trip this week at this Novotel, and I was blown away by how modern and sleek this property is - and how efficient the service is. Living in Asia, you get spoilt, and I had not expected such a great service experience from a huge chain like Novotel - especially not in...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
