I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. We stayed there for my birthday on the exact day. They they let us have a room on the 11th floor with great view of the city. They even prepared a piece of cake in the room. Oh, and towel swans on the bed! Room is big and bed...

Stayed here for 2 nights for my fiancé's birthday, we were so impressed by the hotel for the price we paid. Hotel is modern and clean throughout, we got a complimentary upgrade at check in and the Executive double room was huge, really nice views across the city. Lovely spacious rooms. Great room service sections. Services staff very friendly and helpful. Front desk service not as friendly or helpful. Felt as though it was an inconvenience to check me in and out.

We booked a overnight stay and we both found this hotel lovely. From the reception staff to the staff in the spa we found our stay enjoyable. The room was a decent size with clean sheets, the decorative pillows need to be cleaned, the beds firm and enjoyed a goodnight sleep. The bathroom a good size with both bath and...

The hotel itself is in a great area and the hotel is lovely, the rooms great. However we stayed here on Friday 17th February and woke about 01:45 hrs in the morning to screaming shouting and people having a party. I got out of bed a listened in our hall way and could not hear anything. Back in the room...

Booked as a 'secret hotel' on Lastminute.com. We weren't disappointed. We were able to check in early afternoon, with our room being ready which was good as we didn't then have to carry our bags around. Its centrally located to several tube stations so a handy base. Our room was on the 7th floor facing the main entrance so we...

We booked a weekend in London - first visit in far too many years - in order to go and see a gig on the Saturday night. Having looked through a few options, my partner booked us in at this hotel through a website which promotes discounted deals and thus we were very content with the outcome. The hotel is...

This is a great conference hotel, but, we were in London on holiday and it is NOT a tourist hotel. We were so excited to have found a 'special deal' on last minute dot com at a 5 star hotel - well - check in was good - room was way too warm and stuffy even when air con turned...

I've stayed at the Grange Tower Bridge twice and both times I was very impressed especially for the price we paid. The hotel is big, clean, modern and staff are friendly. At check in we were given an upgrade on our room. I was quite impressed with the room; there were two large double beds, a TV and the bathroom...

Lovely Hotel - stayed in a Superior Deluxe Room on the third floor. Very quiet area in walking distance to two tube stations - Aldgate and Tower Bridge. Ten minute walk from Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Local amenities including a Wetherspoons and a Tesco Express. Would highly recommend.

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
