As other reviewers make clear 30 King Henry's Road offers a sophisticated London experience. Carole and Ted are divine hosts. Their knowledge of sights, landmarks, theatre, and transportation routes is exhaustive. Breakfasts offer home made breads, fresh fruit salad, coffee and tea served in a beautiful kitchen overlooking the back garden. Your accommodation is a comfortable suite including a bathroom...

I recently spent four nights staying at this B&B and found it to be very comfortable with the most delightful hosts Carol and Ted. When in London again this is the place I want to stay. It is convenient to the Underground and has a village full of shops and restaurants. It is very close to Regents Park.

This certainly is home away from home, with Carole and Ted going out of their way to help you and make you feel at home. We booked it due to its location to a course we were attending, but to be homest, it's so accessible for anywhere in London and we'd certainly stay here again if we were visiting for...

This was my second stay at this location - and probably not the last! Last time I was here two years ago with a friend (as my husband couldn't join me after all - mind you we are very good friends and didn't mind sharing a double bed)! We had such a lovely time at Carole's and Ted's, and Jenny...

This was our second stay at this B and B. A large comfortably furnished house in primrose hill, full of art, books and antiques. Our bedroom on the second floor was quiet and cosy with a spotlessly clean modern bathroom. Breakfast is served in the huge family kitchen - delicious fruit salad and aromatic homemade bread relete with seeds and...

Needed a bed for the night in London and found this very lovely place to stay via the Sawdays website. 30 King Henry's Road lies in a fantastic residential location in central London - right next to Chalk Farm tube station. The house itself is beautiful - lots of books, beautiful artwork, interesting artefacts etc. Carole was most welcoming and...

We had been meaning to stay in this place for a year or so, as it looked so interesting and eccentric compared to the normal bland hotel rooms, but they were booked up when we were free. Now I know why. What an amazing place! Great access to the city, but such a quiet road. We got the tube from...

A retreat, a sanctuary, an oasis; where gracious living is delivered with intimate charm, and sophisticated elegance blends with generosity of spirit and buoyant good humour. Carole not only makes you feel as you are her long lost friend returned from a harrowing expedition, but she also sets you up for your next venture with hot travel tips, and cultural...

The environment is very well decorated with numerous antiques, paintings, prints and books. Primrose Hill is a gracious neighborhood just beyond the crowds of traditional tourist London. The hosts are highly knowledgeable about London, literature, history, and current events. Unique and highly recommended.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at 30 King Henry’s Road during April and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is conveniently located between the Swiss Cottage and Chalk Farm Tube Stations on a pleasant street in Primrose Hill just minutes away from the high street with some nice shops and eateries. Regents Park and Primrose Hill are very...
