We booked this just a few days before for ourselves and middle daughter for one night. It was beautifull situated i.e. plane trees and park view, incl tennis courts (we had access to). Room was small but beautifully kitted out with everything you need. It was clean too! Comfortable and relaxing social room opposite the dining room which provided a...

My wife and I stayed here on the Saturday evening before the London Marathon being run, as we were some way from the Marathon route the area was relatively quiet but there were still lots of attractions to keep you entertained. We were given a room in the basement which was adequate in size for the two of us, it...

This was booked for me by a friend who I was meeting in London. The room was small functional and It was clean. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to your preferance. I would class this as a budget hotel except for the price. As an infrequent visitor to London I am not able to compare prices but would probably...

My wife son and I stayed in this hotel last weekend. When making a reservation I already had a reservation for 2 and my son joined me later on. I requested to change the room from a 2 to a 3 person room but none was available so I reserved a single room for him. Upon arriving my wife was...

Single room on third floor, very small but clean and bathroom was OK, definitely budget accommodation but this isn't reflected in the price. Location as near to where I needed to be. Reception is very untidy and room behind reception looked as though somebody was living or sleeping there, would suggest keeping the door shut! Very noisy as faced onto...

The room was clean and quiet although towards the small size however enough for one night for two people. Comfortable bed. We had a good night's sleep. The location is amazing; a safe area 5 minutes walking from King's Cross/St Pancras, 20min walking from Covent Garden and Soho, 20min walk to Camden Town and 30min walk to Westminster, we didn't...

This small hotel has been refurnished so my 'small dbl' room on lower ground floor and public areas were in good order. This room was pretty small but cheap for the location (5 mins from Russell square tube) with private shower which worker well. Walls were thin so the mornings were noisey- not somewhere to sleep in; IT signal v...

This must have been my third or fourth visit since 2006. This is still a cozy, somewhat quirky boutique hotel. It is now a little bit run down, but clean. Location is good, close to Russel Square tube station and within a walking distance to Bloomsbury and even Covent Garden. However, it can be that the management has changed and...

Stayed a few times at this family feel, homely litttle bed and breakfast. Very small rooms but spotlessly clean and an excellent base close to Kings Cross/St P station. Breakfast is included in the price and made fresh to order so makes it a good value stay. If you want a bar, restaurant or room service etc this isn't the...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during a small citytrip to London. Things that attracted us to this hotel were the excellent location close to metro and station (we came by Eurostar train). Upon arrival we were able to immediately check in and go to our rooms. The room was on the third floor and had a streetside...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
