The location of the hotel is brilliant being only 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross Railway Station. Our room was small & rather dated but the bed was comfortable & clean. The bathroom was cold, the shower cubicle tiny & the shower water not terribly warm. The breakfast room was very pleasant and breakfast was first class with a large...

This is a gem of a hotel if you are looking for value and a good location. I have stayed here over a forty-five year period, and most recently December 28 - January 4. We had a triple room so my daughter had her own bed. It is very difficult to find rooms with two beds in major hotels. The...

Booked this hotel because of its location between kings cross and Russell Square tube stations. This provided access to greater London and the trains to the airports within walking distance. Perfect! The hotel is a converted period house and as such has a bit of charm. This also means though that there is no lift which meant carrying luggage up...

Good value for London had a triple room very clean and quite modern. Nice shower small but fine for us. Slight negative had an open area with water feature outside the window which was running all night. Very tired so didn't effect me. But might a light sleeper (room 10). We where near reception expect to hear noise but other...

Lovely quiet position - comfortable large beds - clean rooms - all mod cons therein - great breakfast but the Underground runs underneath the hotel so beware of a little extra noise if in a basement room.

Booked another hotel nearby but Expedia had overbooked so they sent me here instead, walking distance from Euston. Nice building on a quiet crescent. More a guest house than a hotel. Overwhelming smell of Malaysian spicy curry and canine odours in the foyer. Ground floor room was quite spacious with high ceilings, a tiny tv high up on the wall...

Stayed for one night after dinner with friends. Agree that room was small perhaps but perfectly adequate, nicely decorated, well equipped and immaculately clean. Would recommend for anyone who needs somewhere to spend the night in the area and doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg.

The Harlingford is on a crescent in Cartwright Gardens. Rates are reasonable and the property well kept up. PROS: A cat and dog are in residence. Any place with pets automatically gets a gold star from me. Both are lovely. My son and I shared a triple bedded room. Lots of space. The bathroom was really impressive. Huge full bathtub...

Having never stayed at this hotel before I decided to read some of the reviews to try and get a feel of the place. I have to say that I completely disagree with all the negative reviews stating that the staff were rude and unhelpful. My friend and I had arrived earlier than expected so we asked if we could...

As with most of the hotels in this area the (single) rooms are small but this was a marked improvement from my last hotel in the same part of Kings Cross/Camden. Located in a leafy crescent the hotel has a pleasant, small reception area. There are no lifts so be prepared to walk upstairs. My room overlooked the tennis courts...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
