I loved the location of this hotel. It's close to the British museum and within walking distance of Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, and the National Portrait Gallery etc. A bus stop and an underground station are closeby and convenient. There are lots of wonderful restaurants nearby that we enjoyed. The room was comfortable, and although it was small was...

After reading the reviews on this site booked an apartment room (room 242) for a long weekend, arriving on Friday 29th Feb. The location is excellant, easy access to all main attractions within London without being in the main hustle and bustle. We had caught train down to London Euston and journey to hotel was easy enough. The owners and...

Fabulous location next to the British Museum and with a bus stop outside. It took less than 5 mins to walk to the Dominion and the Shaftsbury Theatres. Helpful and polite staff. Free internet use. Good breakfast. Great price. Clean. Now for the negatives - Tiniest room I have ever seen. Could barely walk around the bed! - sliding bathroom...

The standard of this hotel is just as good as when we last stayed there in July 2006. The rooms are well furnished, the breakfast substantial, the staff pleasant and the location is second to none. There are no public rooms as in a lounge or bar but they are simply not required in central London in our opinion. There is...

I really enjoyed my 4-night stay over the weekend. I arrived early morning and although my room wasn't ready - i was able to leave my bags. I had asked for a single and ended up with room 206 which had a double bed. The room had plenty of room, shelves for clothing, bedside reading lights and 2 chairs. my...

I wanted a nice hotel for my wife's birthday treat of a night on the tiles in London, and the Morgan ticks all the boxes. It is in a brilliant location just off the end of Oxford St and round the corner from the British Museum. We had a top floor room that was clean and quiet. The staff were...

I stayed at the Morgan Hotel for one night while I was in London on a course in January. My room (a large single) was towards the back of the building on the (lower) ground floor. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was in great condition and everything worked perfectly fine. The only two things which I found...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
