We stayed one night here and had a comfortable night's sleep (apart from being disturbed by a false fire alarm!). The staff were all very friendly and helpful and it was a fantastic location. The only slight downside was the breakfast, which was only a continental and no cooked option.

This hostel is by far the best affordable location having the British Library just across the street. Good value for money, friendly service. Strongly recommended for those (on a budget - but even if you're not on a budget, to be honest) planning a couple of research days in the BL.

Hi JW132017! Thank you very much indeed for taking the time to review us - great tip regarding our suitability for anyone who needs easy access to the British Library too! It's a beautiful place for anyone to enjoy, but especially relevant for those who are visiting for reasons that are a bit more academic :) We hope to welcome...

Great location. Perfect for Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras train stations, also for the tube station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Place had a great comfortable atmosphere. Room was clean, basic but adequate. En-suite was clean. The only gripe was the traffic noise, although I think this was made worse by the fact that the window did not close...

I was in London to attend a concert in London that evening. I didn't need anything extravagant, just a clean, comfortable bed and basic facilities for food and drink. As this YHA is so close to King's Cross/St Pancras station, I was worried about not being able to sleep because of noise. I needn't have been. It was great and...

Seasoned YHA traveller so thought I would know what to expect. Hugely disappointed. Not using the reception and having to queue at the bar to sign in was unfriendly, as were the member of staff more interested in chatting to the pretty girls ahead of us - we received less than half the info they did! And the absolutely rudeness...

We stayed here as a family of five in one of their family rooms, it was a two minute walk from King's Cross/St. Pancras (and that's with a dawdling four year old!). Five single beds, all clean and comfortable. The en-suite had a shower and again was really clean. I'd totally recommend the place for a budget family stay in...

The place was so nice and the staff is really nice. It is really inexpensive to stay here in Centre London. Room was super clean as well. Location is near both Kings cross and Euston. To St.Pancras only 2 minutes walk, to Kings cross tube station 3 minutes walk, and to Euston tube station app. 5-8 minutes walk. Easy access...

I stayed at this hostel for a total of 3 weeks and I really enjoyed it. I ended up in the same room for the entire time on the 1st floor which was okay. You will get noise from ambulances and police sirens throughout the night but I don't think it would matter what floor you are on as the...

Hey there! Thanks so much for reviewing us! We're delighted you had such a great stay! The sirens do get a bit noisy sometimes don't they :/ (there's a hospital a few streets away), but - top tip! - if you pop down to reception and see us, we'll be able to sort you out with some super handy ear...

It was my first time staying in a hostel so I was quite nervous and didn't know what to expect. This hostel is close to the tube station, with a bar/pub on either side. Room (double) was adequate, clean and tidy. Lacks a self catering kitchen but heaps of food places about. WiFi only works in the lobby. We would stay here again.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
