We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago for my special birthday - fell in love with the place. My husband decided to treat us to a three night stay to kick off 2017. We were not disappointed. The room, food, staff are all fantastic. The staff greet you by name too! The only downside is no lounge...

This iconic hotel lives up to its reputation. We were greeted by the livered doorman Straight to the bar for two excellent bloody marys Followed by a super lunch very good food , only gripe was that the bread was disapointing as was the soup , only tepid . Service very quick and friendly and the waiter explained we were...

I had a business meeting with my bosses and we decided to meet for coffee at the Reubens as our usual venue was closed for refurbishment. It suited our purpose very well; and everything was beautifully prepared. We just kept going on coffee with one of us ordering a continental breakfast. So perhaps not a fair test of the hotel....

I was lucky enough to stay here on business for 3 nights and it was an absolute delight. The staff was beyond accommodating, attentive, and professional. I was in love with the building and decor from roof to bottom. Classy is an understatement for this property. The room had really nice touches like adorable stuffed sheep and a radio dial...

The Goring doesn't personally suit us as an accommodation location when we're in London, but the dining room is a classy and delightful venue for dinner. The whole experience, from arriving, poring over the menu and wine-list in the sitting room, the impact of the dining room itself, the food quality, and outstanding service, in an impeccable environment, is a...

Words cannot describe how in love I am with The Goring, I've been visiting this property with my family since I was a child and will continue to do so as long as they'll have me. A wonderful location, beautifully appointed rooms, surprisingly reasonable rates given the standards they hold themselves to. Afternoon tea at The Goring is a must,...

The Goring stands alone in London as a genuine 5* hotel with old worlde charm. Some of the rooms are on the small side and there is no meaningful exercise room, but to truly experience stellar hotel comfort and service, The Goring is the place to stay.

I've stayed here many times and each time, I marvel at the genuine friendliness of the staff, their warmth, and their professionalism. Too many luxury hotels in central London have an atmosphere of "We are Very Important" or otherwise just miss the mark in some category or another but The Goring ticks all the boxes: five star elegance, superb service...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
