Yes, Kate Middleton stayed here the night before her marriage to Prince William, but so did we...and we were treated like royalty. Afternoon tea, dinner that evening, an elegant bedroom, everything was exemplary. Can't wait to return.

With an amazingly warm welcome by the doormen through to the personalised greeting at check-in the hotel does not fail to deliver. The public areas are warm and friendly with lots of interesting and unique touches, plenty of places to sit and relax or enjoy a drink and read the paper. The room was obviously recently refurbished and of the...

Impeccable service. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, which was lovely coming from our long flight from Los Angeles with our toddler who was welcomed with open arms! When we're back in London on holiday, we will be back. The rooms are comfortable, food is great, service amazing. It was lovely for us as a couple but also as parents...

There is a reason the Middleton family chose this hotel for their stay the week before the royal wedding. It is relatively small, family-owned, and absolutely spectacular. Great restaurant, wonderful bar, impeccable service. I have been fortunate enough to stay at several of the great hotels in London, and this is by far the best.

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
