I booked here only because I couldn't get into the nearby Gresham Hotel, which is my stopover of choice in the Paddington area. I always try to be fair and balanced in reviews, but I just can't find anything good to say about this depressing place, save for the young waitress who tried hard to make the breakfast bearable.

Stayed here for 6 days. Too long for these conditions. The room was more suitable for 2 skinny dwarfs then for 2 grown ups. The beds move, the light in the minute bathroom failed after 3 days. The TV never worked and the wifi was unstable. You had to leave the bathroom, turn around and go in backwards to clean...

We stayed in this hotel as part of a weekend away coinciding with visiting Winter Wonderland. I must say the location was good. That was it! To keep this brief my double room was infact a twin room which we were happy to not mention as it was 5 flights of stairs to go down and ask to change. However...

I can only comment on the room I had (Room 6 by the way). It was at the end of a corridor right next to the door to the breakfast room. It was probably part of the corridor at one time until they halved it and created room 6. The bedroom was uncomfortably tiny and you knew when everyone went...

Just sleeping in the street... Even with ear plugs, woke up by every loud sound of tires and sirene... Room was just enough for two and globally clean. Just no way to sleep, too bad. I think I will avoid all Sussex hotel next time as they look all the same.

I visited this hotel for one night, paid 72 pounds for a room I could hardly move in with a window that can't be closed. The breakfast was a complete joke. Horrible croissant, no cheese, basically serials. The only good thing is the location, 5 minutes walk from paddington

Small hotel in good location, near to Paddington station. Walking distance to Hyde Park and Oxford street. Small room and competitive price as expected in Central London. Staff at check-in was quick and helpful.
