The front desk staff we extremely helpful guiding to the sites we wanted to see and with understanding the underground. The restaurant on site was very good. We didn't eat breakfast. The rooms were small but comfortable and all amenities worked correctly.

Great location within walking distance of river, very quiet even though on a busy street. Older building and room with a lot of character. Clean and roomy. Fuller beer in the room fridge was a nice touch.

Where do we start? Sadly the lovely food and ability to book a table for 10 post-marathon does not quite make up for the issues we seem to have had. 1. One of our party, a marathon runner, had a booked room in the hotel - however this didn't stop the person on the phone flatly denying us the opportunity...

Made arrangements to meet fellow club members at this pub following the London Marathon. The lady waiting at the door was rude and we could only have a table if we ate food. We were then seated and needed one more seat to be told they didn't have any. Then half the group has their drinks order taken but the...

The room quality , the dining service , the cleanness and tidyness of the hotel were beyond my expectations. Especially the kindness of every employee in hotel suprised me a lot. They were always a smile on their face what ever the time it was.

I booked this hotel for a very reasonable price in the Easter holidays and wasn't disappointed at all. It was literally 5 minutes walk to Westminster Abbey, Parliament buildings and also an easy walk to St.James's Park, Buckingham Palace, Whitehall, Trafalgar Square etc. As it's in Westminster, mainly there appeared to be mainly civil servants etc in the day but...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
