The entrance from Victoria station was great (like a secret entrance made us think of Harry Potter). Location perfect for Buckingham Palace and Westminster. Reception staff and concierge were very helpful and professional. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Grosvenor Arms service and food were excellent and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Although breakfast was really busy the service was...

Stayed here last Friday with another couple as part of our wedding anniversary celebrations. Really convenient for Buckingham Palace (about 400 metres), which we toured in the afternoon, before checking in. Our friends were allocated room 668 and ourselves 704. Room 704 was a tiny attic room just big enough to fit a bed in, with a miniscule bathroom. We...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post and choosing to stay with us to celebrate your anniversary. We do have different room configurations due to the age of our building and I was pleased our team allocated you a more suitable room. Our standard rooms are located in the wing section and our larger deluxe and executive rooms in the main...

Booked for a one night stay following an offer. The reception staff could not have been more helpful, kind or courteous. Bar staff were a delight and very knowledgeable. II found breakfast to be a disappointment, with food very tepid. I am aware that they have to cater for large numbers and there is a quick turnover within the area,...

Booked an Executive room as we were travelling with our teenage son. Great hotel - absolutely fantastic place to be - 7 mins walk to Buckingham Palace - private entrance from Victoria Staion (only 2 stops on the Victoria Line to Kings Cross) - the staff were very nice & friendly (you don't always get this in London hotels) Breakfast...

This was the longest stay I've ever had in one hotel-9 days. I've lived in London before and I chose this hotel mostly for the location. Pros: * Absolutely lovely and helpful staff. Friendly smiles from everyone. * Location is superb, especially if you have lots you want to see in London. * Posh decor. * Turn down service and...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post which made really disappointing reading. As recently appointed General Manager I do appreciate your feedback as this helps us to work on any areas that fall short of the standards and service we usually pride ourselves on. Beautifully decorated and absolutely great food. I would definitely return in the near future. Reasonably good service and also a friendly, tranquil ambience. Even the sandwiches were so delicious. Perhaps quite high priced but definitely worth it.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
