Stayed here one week ago on a brief trip to London. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, although curiously there were no drawers for clothes beyond small bedside table drawers. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. Alas, shower only with no bathtub...an increasingly unfortunate contemporary trend. Breakfast generous and tasty. Business center not terribly well functioning.

A friend in Australia first recommended the Grosvenor to us and we stayed 4 days in June 2013. We booked the hotel again for our May 2016 visit. The hotel is perfectly positioned in Buckingham Palace Road, above Victoria Station, 2 block from the Victoria Coach Station and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. In addition to its perfect location,...

Always enjoy a trip to London and a good choice it was. The Hotel is in a great location and adjacent to Victoria Train/Tube & Coach Stations. There's even an entrance to the Hotel on the Station concourse (daytime only). The Hotel was busy as it was London Marathon weekend. We arrived really early and surprised to find our room...

Stayed here this year as ideally positioned to go and watch the marathon on Birdcage walk. This hotel is lovely and clean with excellent facilities. Good choice at breakfast. The hotel is situated well for rail links to greater London, having an entrance at the back of the hotel straight on to the concourse at Victoria station. At the side...

Received an upgrade due to 70th birthday and complementary bottle of wine. From the check in (early)until check out we obtained excellent service, quiet (could not believe that Victoria stain is just outside) and clean room with all amenities. Nespresso coffee machine made our morning!

Nice to stay in a hotel that retains some of its old world charm. It has a beautiful lobby and we were pleasantly surprised to be given a complimentary room upgrade upon check in. Our room (416) was spacious and whilst not to my taste, had a modern decor, an extremely comfy bed and the bathroom was very nice, particularly...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your almost perfect post. Built in 1862 and recently refurbished we have worked hard to retain its Victorian features while adding a modern contemporary twist which includes Hypnos beds with mattress toppers for extra comfort, rainfall showers and Bose docking stations. Thank you for your observation regarding the mirror and plug socket as well as your...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
