I checked in to the Fitzrovia Hotel, London on September 19th, 2022 accompanied by my teenage daughter. From booking our reservation with Ms Anne to our check out - I can only say, I was beyond impressed by the professionalism, friendliness and excellent service we experienced across the board. This boutique hotel is located in the heart of London’s Fitzrovia, only minutes from Oxford Street and other popular city locations. The decor is classic British style, rooms are comfortable and exceptionally well maintained, with top marks for cleanliness and hygiene. The staff, without exception, were excellent! Nothing was too much trouble and any requests were accommodated in a professional and timely manner. I must mention by name the dedicated and tireless efforts of several outstanding staff members, who went above and beyond to make our stay at The Fitzrovia, memorable, for all the right reasons. Ms Francilla, Ms Nirmali and Mr Nick were as charming as they were professional, always happy to ensure our stay was comfortable and were especially helpful when our stay necessitated an unexpected extension of 7 additional nights. Each morning, we were warmly greeted and attended to by pleasant and friendly wait-staff, Ms Petranca and Mr Sulav who ensured we had everything our hearts could desire at breakfast. The delicious complimentary buffet breakfast boasted a wide selection of choices to suit everyone, from healthy options to the irresistible full English. Other staff members who must be commended for their outstanding service, during our stay were; Ms. Atilliyah, Ms. Nimah, Ms. Virginia, Mr. Johann, Puttun and Mr Lassita all of whom contributed to our exceptionally pleasant 10-night stay. The Housekeeping staff were highly efficient, though not intrusive and their dedication was evident in the pristine standards maintained in the bathroom and bedroom. The Fitzrovia rooms are a comfortable size, some can accommodate up to 3 guests and many of the bathrooms were recently renovated. There is a safe in each guest room, bottled water is also provided as well as in house Wi-Fi. There are 2 elevators, a cosy bar on the ground level and a well laid out restaurant on the lower ground level. The concierge is always eager to assist guests with luggage or reserve a taxi for a pre-arranged time. I extend our sincere appreciation to the entire Fitzrovia Hotel team for looking after us so well. I highly recommend this fine hotel and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Lady Aquarius. September 2022.

Good hotel for a base for London. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Staff helpful and kind. We would return if in London visiting. One small point to consider, would be a small area reserved for booking in and collecting keys or a sign pointing to such. This would help especially when the bar is busy!!

The room was very clean, as is the rest of the hotel. Corridors and public spaces are all well maintained. The staff are very friendly, they helped us with taxis and local information. As we arrived by train early in the morning, they took our bags whilst we went and explored. Even though we got back quite late everything was ready for us to check in. Breakfast has a great buffet selection and really good coffee. The highlight was Atilia who took such good care of us over breakfast, she is very hard working and always with a smile on her face. There was not one problem encountered, check in and check out were really quick and the location is great.

I have never bothered to write a poor review before but this place is so unprofessional! I don't know how this place has 4 stars. We got a 'deluxe double room' which was two single beds pushed together and the room was absolutely freezing. The staff were so unaccommodating, they would not arrange for me to check in 20 minutes before normal check in time so had to leave my bag and fill out a form. When i arrived back later that evening and tried to check-in, the rude man on reception told us we had already checked-in which was untrue and he was very reluctant to check us into the room we paid 200 pound for. In addition to this one of the staff members FORGED MY SIGNATURE on the room key booklet as I had previously signed something when leaving my bags. The rudest staff I have ever came across.

Stayed for 4 nights, hotel was extremely clean, we had 2 rooms both very spacious, very traditional. Beds extremely comfortable, even sons pull out bed was comfortable it was a hot weekend, rooms air conditioned. Hotel quiet, you could just hear slight rumbling of tube, but it's London. Easy check in, staff polite. Bathroom modern. Hotel is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Great links to Wembley, 3 stops. Nice places to eat within walking distance. Close to Regents Park. Car park 100 yards away, very secure. Not attached to hotel. Only issue had to ring down both days for tea and milk and back on iron plug had come off, husband fixed it!

Central London is expensive. So staying at this hotel, we thought was reasonable value for a nights stay in August. It’s an easy 10-15 min walk to the British Museum, 5 _10 mins to Oxford street, The hotel is on a quiet road. There’s lots of bars and restaurants nearby (5 mins). We had an ‘executive’ room with a bit more space. It was quiet, the air con was effective ( much appreciated in this heat wave). The beds were firm but that’s ok with us. Pleasant check in prices and bar staff very helpful with complimentary water. The decor is basic and a bit old fashioned but the room was nice and clean and the bathroom was fine.

So my Husband and I arrived at 1230pm yesterday, the hotel initially looks very nice! We were greeted by 2 nice girls who took our luggage, labelled it and put it in the luggage room. Then we did all the paperwork and my Husband paid the £200 for our room. We then told them that we were off out as we had Harry Potter in theatre to go and see so we wouldn't be back until later on that evening. We arrived at 2240 to get our room key & suitcase so we could get into our room. The man at reception sorted this for us and we went up to our room on the 4th floor (room 407)... we opened the door to a lovely room, very spacious, nice walk in shower, bed looked presentable and clean... however this was short lived when we were greeted by 5-6 wasps in our bathroom and bedroom living their best life! So we went straight down to reception to tell the man about the wasps and asked if we could move rooms. To which he did just that, however he wasn't apologetic in the slightest and when I said 'I hope there's no wasps in the new room' he then replied with 'well they haven't travelled through the whole hotel'. Not very funny or appreciated. The room we then had was fine, smaller but no wasps! My Husband and I had a great sleep, bed was comfy and sheets were nice! Shower was also really nice! Then this morning, I got a notification to say that the hotel had charged my card also... eventhough my husband paid at midday yesterday!! The lady at the manager at the reception said it was a mistake made my reception staff last night who assumed we weren't coming as we hadn't checked into our room!!! They had taken payment in full and had our blimmin suitcase!!!!! So why they Fuming is an understatement as now I have to wait 7 days for £200 to come back into my account! Not ideal when I have 3 children during school holidays! If you're a parent, then you know! So what was a great weekend has now been tarnished by the fact I'm now £200 down... so frustrating!

Before coming I’d read the reviews and got a little nervous about all of them saying about the hard beds! We decided to stick with our guts as it was the location we wanted - and boy are we glad we did! Firstly to tackle the beds! We had excellent sleeps for the 4 nights we stayed. The beds are firm but actually I think that helped us have a good sleep! The staff were lovely and attentive and they let us check in early too! Which was much needed as my husband had had an incident with a pigeon on our way from Euston (12 mins walk!). We are pretty sure they upgraded our room as well for my birthday as it was lovely a spacious!!! Every day the room was immaculately cleaned and we really couldn’t ask for anything else. The only reason we didn’t rate it a 5 is just that the hotel is a little rustic so slightly older bathrooms but all clean and immaculate. We will definitely stay again and room 304 is amazing! Even though this room is next to the lifts we could barely hear them! Excellent air conditioning as well!

Situated just off Great Portland Street this is a hotel with some real London class. The decor is old traditional and the whole place was exceptionally clean and shiny. We were allowed to leave our luggage before check in and after checked out which was very useful as we walked down to Regent Street. There were plenty of staff in reception to assist. The room was spacious and well equipped. The bathroom even has a heated mirror which is a boon for those who wet shave. Breakfast was good. The only downside was that the restaurant was not open on the Sunday evening a nd we had to go out where we found a Trattoria just round the corner. Well wirth considering if you are in tgis oart of London.
