We stopped here for two nights and it was as fine. My daughter is quite short so she took the additional bed. We don't see ourselves as fussy so overall it was a pleasant stay. The room was small and the breakfast was simple BUT...More
We stayed here for 1 night. The main reasons for the choice were the cost, the free car parking and the close proximity to Finchley Road tube station,

You can get the Heathrow express to the central London station (cant remember which one it is) and connect by tube (subway) to Finchley Road station or vice versa, if you are fit. Or you could get the tube all the way to the centre and change to the Jubilee Line for Finchley Road tube station or vice versa. It is definitely worth getting an Oyster card for public transport as it will make travel a bit cheaper. Depends how long you will be in London for. It might be harder if you have bags and are older/disabled and you might need a taxi for the end bits. Buses also go very nearby along Finchley Road.
