Room was small but clean and comfortable. No bath and a faxed head shower - no good for 2 girls who had just had there hair and make up done! Only one towel in the room and no phone so I had to walk all the way back to the lift and go down 5 floors for a towel!

The staff at this hotel are really lovely and friendly. The room was adequate just needed more cleaning. It's very quiet inside the hotel but it's noisy outside with the building work. However I didn't mind that because of how convenient the location of this hotel is. Close to tube, restaurants and shops. Would stay here again. We didn't have...

A nice little hotel tucked away in a side street with meter parking around ( free from Saturday afternoons till Monday morning- check the meter charging guidelines). Also a car park is nearby but we didn't need it. Two minute walk to Bishopsgate high street - plenty of bars, restaurants, shops etc. Breakfast was very basic but adequate. Room was...

Great location with 2 tube stations near by. Right in the centre of London. Staff were excellent and friendly. We were able to drop our bags off when we arrived, then enjoyed a day out in London. On checkout we were able to leave our bags there again so we could have another day out before returning at night to...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
