Hard to know where to start....the staff, the smell, the filth, the furniture and the bedding were all unbelievably appalling but I think in the end it was the vermin that really topped it off. This hotel is rated 1035 of 1080 in London by TripAdvisor. I find it difficult to imagine what the 45 lower rated hates could possibly...

This is the WORST hotel I have experienced in my life. We should have been wary from the start - even entering the building - It was grotty. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful, miserable and never smiled once. Again, we should have taken notice of the surroundings and asked to see the room before paying, but this is all great...

The hotel is close to the main attractions, good location but the staff is not helpful. There is no water in the bathrooms, you have to use the shared bathrooms. Of course you have to pay immediately when you arrive. I no wonder why... The rooms are terrible.

Not the best option if you are looking for a good comfortable place to spend the night. The service is not helpful at all, I got to my room and the light wasn't working; the receptionist said he couldn't do anything about it. The WIFI is really slow and stops working every now and then and you can hear everything...

I booked this because I had a job interview in Russels Square and it was very close. I didn't read reviews but nearly panicked when I did. Frankly I think the reviews are very unfair and seem to be expecting too much of somewhere that is what £30-40/night in central London. It has WiFi, hot showers, working toilets and a...

It is not a place to stay. The staff was rude and clueless. The heater in the room was broken and the room was freezing. I went downstairs and told the guy sitting at the reception but he ignored me at the beginning completely until I shouted at him. He was clueless and was not going to do anything about...

The positives are the location and the staff being friendly. The negatives are that it's dirty, there's no wifi in the rooms, they charge to store luggage, the beds squeak, they turn the heating off at night centrally so it's freezing when you wake up, the carpets are worn and the stairs are steep with no case help offered. They...

Stayed here for 3 nights due to work commitments. Have to say this is most defiantly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, in the world. The bed was held together by shoe laces and duck tape. Mattress was uncomfortable. The heating in room wasn't working. There was no hot water in the room. Tv on wall in room was...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
