The room was very dirty with uncleaned carpet and moldy bathroom. It stank so much that we had to sleep with opened windows during all our stay (2 nights). The fridge was moldy too. Somebody came in our room when we were not here, but they didn't change the sheets and towels (so why did they come?). Moreover, they were...

Room was pretty much ok. Service not very good : during 3 nights, never change bath towel, never clean room, never make bed, add paper toilet, etc... Reception sometimes nice, sometimes not at all.

the hotel is a two minute walk to the station and there's quite a few shops and fast food places (kfc, mcdonalds, subway) great for late nights after a day of sight seeing to be able to grab something and take to the room. The room was great, fridge, bed, tv, bathroom, the usual

This time I wanted to have cheap accommodation to be out for the Olympics and to have something to sleep in a nice area in London. I do not expect too much from a budget hotel. We paid a quite cheap rate. But I would never pay more for that room. Everything above 60 for a double room at this...

Myself and 3 friends stayed here while visiting London for the wireless festival in Hyde Park. When we first arrived staff were friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage as we toured about before checking in. They said this was ok to do so before when i called and the luggage would be kept in a safe room. To...

I arrived and the man on reception was very friendly, asked how I was, how my journey was. I asked for an iron and ironing board and he got it for me straight away and was happy to help. Rooms were good for price, very good amenities- I would recommend it to younger ppl on a budget. Excellent central location...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
