I stayed for four nights for a business trip to our offices in Blackfriars. Good location close to the Tube, bus stops, the river, Globe Theatre, St Paul's and millennium bridge. However the hotel room was grubby with threadbare carpets, dirty net curtains and a bathroom like a public toilet. The vanity was so close to the toilet it was almost impossible to sit down straight on the loo and the manky shower curtain made my skin crawl. I had to ask for a fridge and the tea and coffee was extremely basic (just a few sachets in a mug). No breakfast included for the £250 per night price tag either. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
This was my second stay at the Club Quarters St Pauls. The hotel is incredibly located in the central City of London just adjacent to St Paul’s Cathedral. The hop on hop off tourist bus stops right outside the main door. Other bus stops taking you to Waterloo or Trafalgar Square or Liverpool Street are within a block or two and the City Thameslink station connecting to Gatwick is only two blocks away. Right next door is an M&S grocery store. Loads of restaurants from chains like Pizza Express or Rouge to higher end Ivy Asia, Burgers and Lobsters to cute pubs are all within a couple of blocks as is the St Paul’s tube station. Location, location, location. I stayed with my young daughter in an executive one bedroom suite on the top floor facing the back courtyard with a lovely view id the spirw of St Martins Ludgate. Nice, clean, quiet, spacious with good AC, two TVs and a kitchenettte with fridge, microwave and basic cutlery. We bought snacks, breakfast items and takeaway from M&S next door and so could eat some meals in. While the hotel is geared towards business travelers, I found it very convenient for a stay with a child. There are filtered water stations on every floor, tea , coffee and milk supplies in the room as well as 24/7 in the pleasant lobby. I love staying in this part of town as it is less frenetic than the West End but so close by. In the evenings when the city workers depart and the weekends, it is quite uncrowded yet still many places are open. Millenium Bridge is a stone’s throw away and we were able to take a pleasant stroll over to the Tate Modern on the other side of the riverbank. Lobby staff were pleasant and efficient. Hotel has a luggage storage service which was incredibly helpful as we traveled to the suburbs at the weekend to visit friends and would not have been able to manage all our international luggage. My only critique really is that the room did not have a safe. The hotel restaurant Cote is quite good.…
Nice hotel. Clean and great location. Good size rooms. Check in and check out really smooth, Denzel on the front desk was polite, patient and really helpful both in checking me in and providing directions to my next meeting. Will return when next on business.
I work just around the corner and this hotel is convenient. That is where it ends , this is one of the most disgusting hotels I have ever stopped at. I stopped in room 225 for about an hour, the tv didn’t work the air on was stuck on and I have never smelt a room like it , if I could swear about the stench I would. I moved rooms at 12am because it was so bad, bUt the new room was like a hostel. Avoid this place when Premier inn at Blackfriars is down the road. An expensive mistake coming here 🤮
W/End away in London. We were looking for a hotel close to the river Thames & St. Catherine’s Docks inc. Tower Bridge & St. Paul’s Cathedral. Eventually we found the Clubquaters Hotel in St. Paul’s. which was was spot on for location. The hotel was superb, great facilities, inc. a gym. the room was lovely, Reception staff were very helpful. Just off the Reception is a direct link door to the superb Cotes Restaurant, so we could start our day off with a great Full English Breakfast. Yum…Yum it was spot on! The location of the hotel is superb….St. Paul’s Cathedral right next door…a Bell Ring away….the River Thames including the famous Millennium Bridge, a short walk away. Close to St. Paul’s Underground along with city bus stops and numerous extremely convenient shops., couldn’t fault it. Spot on!…
Denzel and Nojus were absolutely amazing and helped us with our trip to London. Will definitely come back The staying at the hotel was amazing just because of them, always made sure we are alright and good with the metro and everything.
i like to stay at st pauls for its location, and staff kidness, special thanks to ryan, he is amazing, last time gave me the best room view ever. also the club quarters benefits, one night stay at the hotel is really a god deal. see you next time at clb quarters st pauls
Great hotel and very convenient area. Right down the street from St Paul’s Cathedral. Tour buses pick up and drop off right outside the front door. Staff was friendly and cleaning service was great. They have a hospitality shower area so you can clean up if you arrive early and your room isn’t ready. Filtered water on all floors with refillable water bottles is a really nice touch. My only “complaint” is there is one small washer and dryer for the entire hotel to do laundry. It’s free, which is nice but it’s going 24 hours a day and very difficult to find a time when it’s available. The neighborhood has some great restaurants and pubs. Safe and fun area around the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
hey we are want to say thanks specially to Muay and Denzel who were so kind and who helps us for what ever we needed with a good lovely smile. Denzel guide us how to move in the city when there was a strike in the public transport thank you for that !
Room and hotel was clean. Lobby is nice especially if you arrive earlier than check time. Conveniently located to all restaurants, trains, buses, shops and other sights. Denzel was very helpful and kind.
