Good customer service, this hotel is great for business trips. Silent at night. I have been there three times now and I like it. One of them I was lucky and I got a great room with a direct view of st. Paul's church.

The hotel rooms are in really bad shape but they are big for the money. The food in the restaurant downstairs is phenomenal and the location is good. All things considered given the shape of the hotel itself, the poor shower and bed quality I would consider this a last resort for the area.

This hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable to stay. Hotel staff were amazing as well. They welcomed with friendly and warm smiles....... especially, San was a great guest manager I've ever met. ;-)) She was a very sweet and friendly person ever. That's the thing that we melted this hotel.. I highly recommend this hotel if you guys staying...

Was a bit disappointed upon arrival because the hotel to me looked a bit grubby with so many people standing outside on the street smoking. However once we had entered the lobby things did improve. Quite a small hotel with not many facilities but the location is excellent, a stone's throw from the steps of St Paul's Cathedral. We paid...

This hotel is located near St Pauls and city center. Its location is very convenient and easy to visit around the city. The receptionist was charming and very helpful. Especially, the guest manager, San is very helpful and hospitality. The room was a good size and the bed was comfy. It was good value for London.

Was here for a weekend with my girlfriend. Firstly, the price could not be beaten, awesome. Secondly the room and location were extremely good value for money. Only downside is that the rooms aren't that soundproof, and St. Paul's bells do wake you quite early with bells. It's quite nice actually :) Good service, and I will most likely use...

Just stayed here as part of a business trip. Great location. Waking distance to tube and great for sight seeing. Great service throughout, highly recommended! I will be booking here again. If your looking for somewhere nice to eat you should visit joes kitchen which is a couple of doors down and great value for money 👍

If you are looking for a hotel in a great location for sightseeing this is it. If you are looking for value for money, I don't think this is it. Small airless rooms in desperate need of a makeover. Decor is stuck in the 1980s, reminded me of my student hall room. Each item of furniture, the carpet and curtains...

Great hotel, very convenient for St. Paul's and the city. Staff were all very friendly. Didn't have breakfast in the hotel any of the mornings, plenty of nice cafes in the vicinity. Was woken every morning by the bells from St. Paul's, not much the hotel can do about that!

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
