The decor here is definitely on the dull side, but the location is excellent, close to St. Paul's Cathedral and the St. Paul's Underground Station. The rooms are sizable by European standards, the plumbing and lighting are up to par, but the real standout here...More
...who does not want to eat out every night then I thoroughly recommend these. I pay a little bit extra and get the kitchenette, the "lounge"/dining area and a bedroom section. Have space to eat sleep and do whatever you need to do in the...More
Nice big rooms and comfy beds. Good TV and desk area. Good showers. Cleanliness very good. Staff very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing decent accommodation (not too fancy). Ask for courtyard side room for a better night's sleep
We stayed at the hotel for one night to meet a family member for dinner who was working in London. Yes, the decor is a little dated , but that is compensated for by the location and the room facilities.

From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's
glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
