I have been in Westbury Hotel from Friday till Monday. 1.I was in room 101 and I do not know but my room had walls made of paper, (I could clearly hear what where the other guests doing) if you know what I mean. 2. The breakfast was awful (I do not mind English brake fast) but for one day....

The room was one of the smallest I had ever been in. We had a twin room and we couldn't have both of our suitcases open at once as there was not enough floor space. The bathroom was also tiny. Although it was small, it was very clean, the breakfast was great and the reception staff were all extremely friendly....

Ok if you want a clean room, bedding and a shower as it's very small! Staff are hard working and polite and the location is very good as all the reviews state too. Picadilly line (Earls Court) is 5 minutes walk and this will be the only tube you'll need for Leicester Square, Picadilly Circus, Covent Garden and Kings Cross....

I stayed here with my family and from the beginning it was very bad. The room was dirty. At the walls you found dirty spot which looked like easy to clean. The quilts were dusty, there was a hole in each bed and there was no space to walk. The pillows were hard and in my bed there was a...

We stayed here for 4 nights back in May on the first leg of our Honeymoon and the hotel served its purpose without too many complaints. I've read a lot of the negative reviews, but I didn't have a huge problem with anything. Yes, the room we had was tiny (Really! Just check the pictures!). We expected small, but we...

My girlfriend and I booked for 2 nights while a brief stay in London and the only good thing about this place was the location. Being so close to Earls Court Station was great! From first glances of the front of the hotel it looked amazing but don't be fooled this place is far from amazing. Our room was pathetically...

We stayed here during the week of 2-6 nov, and unfortunately the best i can say about this hotel is that the staff is very kind. The hotel has seen its best days. We got a room on the 2nd of november and the first thing i notices was that a panel under the zink in the bathroom was hanging...

Enjoyed staying here for initially 2 days on arrival in London and because the reception staff ( Maria) were so helpful we booked and stayed another 3 nights before we went home. Our room was great because we had 2 smokers so our room was on the ground floor with a door to a small laneway which saved them from...

Hotel is only a few minutes walk from Earls Court station and perfect location for museums and beyond. Rooms are compact however as I was visiting London and not a hotel room it was adequate. The staff on reception were friendly and very helpful with directions and recommendations for local eateries. The hotel is a small one and room is...

This was absolutely the smallest hotel room I've ever seen. Not recommendable to claustrophobic people. Reception staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is basic but enough. Location is perfect for visiting Natural Historic Museum, V&A Museum, Science Museum and Royal Albert Hall. Good for budget travellers.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
