When staying in London, it is perfectly possible to spend a lot of money on accommodation and still be dissatisfied; what one pays does not always reflect one's total experience of the stay. The Highbury Centre makes no claim to be a top-end hotel, offering every conceivable luxury and service. However, what it does, it does very well. The rooms...

Rooms were clean and basic. Breakfast was great, very good value for our trip to London. Little bit of a walk from the tube, but very pleasant. Quiet at night which was good and staff very friendly, would not hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed as a family for a few days at the Highbury Centre. The place is charming, feels very comfortable and like staying in someone's home. The staff were outstanding, they were so helpful and did what they could to help and give advice. My only complaint was that the Wifi was weak. We had to change rooms throughout our...

A friend told me about the Highbury Centre and I was so thankful to have a safe and comfortable place to stay in London on a recent trip. The staff were friendly, room was clean and I had a wonderful visit. (I was also impressed by their willingness to call me for registration information when I could not connect via...

We stayed at the Highbury Centre for one night in January. As we had taken our car we found the Highbury very convenient as we could park and take the tube into Central London. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and welcoming. Lovely comfortable lounge areas. Although the rooms are basic, they were warm, clean and comfortable. Lovely hot...

We spent a week at the Highbury Centre while seeing London. Highbury is a northeastern suburb of London, and the Centre is perhaps a 15-minute walk from the train station that took us conveniently here and there to the sights and events around the city. The walk to the nearest bus station is shorter. The Centre is not a hotel,...

The location couldn't get much better. One stop away from Kings Cross and lots of great park areas to explore in the area. The rooms are nice and there are plenty of toilets and showers, even if your room does not come with a bathroom in the room. The food was good and the staff was very nice.

A warm welcome awaits on arrival, staff / fellow guests are friendly and place is clean. However, don't expect luxury. Accommodation is in the basic / hostel-esq category. Nothing more than the essentials in the room. Location / transport options are good - near (15-20 mins walk) to Highbury and Islington tube / overground station, Canonbury overground station and Arsenal...

Rooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, conference and public rooms - all far beyond customary 'budget' quality! The bedrooms all equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and plentiful supply of both! There is 'subdued' lighting so not consigned to rather 'bleak' ceiling light! Carpets and linen immaculate and cleaned daily. Staff approachable and ever ready to help. General ambience is one of quiet,...
