A filthy hotel with dirt on the walls, curtains hanging off their rails, stained seats in the dinning room, a hole in the bed and a shabby carpet kept in place with some sticky tape. The free wifi did not work. The best thing about it is it is a minutes walk from Warren street tube station. As London is such... More

This establishment is frankly dreadful, after waiting nearly 5mins for some one to open the the door to allow us into check in we were finally greeted by a man that looked like he had just woken up and the vagrants dressed and smelled better, he seemed shocked that we where there for our booking, upon entering our room we... We just wanted somewhere to crash for one night - this place has a central location, our room was big enough (who stays in their room in London anyway), the beds were comfortable, tea readily available, breakfast fine and everything clean. What more to ask at this price? :)

Very convenient location. Booked as an inexpensive one night stay in twin room (£89). We didn't expect much, but we have a minimum standard for accommodation and this did not reach it. Room had comfortable beds and decent linen, but sadly the rest was dingy in the extreme: cracks in the walls and sanitary ware; the shower had such an... More

Last minute night away in London - paid £89 B and B to be greeted by smelly carpets. Worn patches and holes in the wall. Had to stand and scream and shout to get my money back. It is filthy and I didn't feel safe- the blood on the door has been there weeks. Appalling and off to the travelodge... More

We provided detailed feedback to the booking agency saying it shouldnt be listed and all the reviws say the same so I'm really surpised to... More

I needed a single room for 2 nights in central London. I booked this knowing it had shared facilities, and I made the foolish assumption that the shared facilities would be a door or two along the corridor. How naive! The toilet and shower were in the basement, and I was on the 3rd floor! No lift, so it was... More

If you're looking for simple, no frills, but conveniently located (we walked most places), this is a good choice. The breakfast was good, although be sure to get there within specified times, and the staff was friendly though not very knowledgeable. This place fit our budget and needs. Next to 2 tube stations.

I got a free upgrade from a single room with shared bathroom, to a double room with ensuite bathroom for the same price. So this might be affecting my rating, as I didn't pay much . Anyway; the hotel is old, but my room was clean. The sheets smelled fresh and I had extra blankets if needed. I payed 46`£... More

“Room 15, top floor! LOTS of stairs, but the cupboard opens into Narnia...”
  • The view of the backyard may not be thrilling, but it made for a very quiet room
  • The old beams in the ceiling gave the room a feeling of history - and also made it feel spacious
  • A double and a single bed - and still floor space! (Sorry about our mess..)
