My husband and I have just spent 2 nights in the worst hotel ever !! I chose this hotel because we were going on a 3 day Theatre break in London, travelling by coach and wanted to be close to the coach station. This is THE ONLY positive thing about this hotel. On arrival we were sent to another hotel,...

Holly House is, overall, an okay deal for what you pay. Starting with the cons: 1) Do NOT count on the Wifi they claim to have. In the 3 days we were there, it was working for half a day. (They were also completely unapologetic when it was down, which was almost constantly.) More importantly, the Wifi does NOT work...

We spent a couple of nights at this hotel, we weren't expecting anything special after reading the reviews but we'd left it too late to search and book anything else so thought we'd take a chance. The decor in reception wasn't inspired but we certainly didn't have to pay with cash up-front, we paid normally by card. We were then...

Holly House is part of three hotels in the neighborhood. The people who manage these hotels are very kind But the hotel (Annex hotel) is just extremely noisy and besides Victoria Station with the noise of the trains during the whole night. Its just a nightmare !!! The price is expensive. The location is excellent is you are looking something...

I stayed here because I needed a room last minute. Was happy to find something available but it's no wonder why, smarter wiser people than myself obviously knew to avoid this place. At reception I was greeted by a man who seemed to think a grunt would suffice as a hello. I'd booked a single room but when I arrived...

We made this trip on a tight budget and admit didn't pay very much at all. If returning to London I would pay a little bit more next time and go elsewhere as this place isn't very nice at all. We booked four nights and it was very easy to find from Victoria bus station. We stayed at the annexe...

I booked a single room through Expedia.co.uk, received confirmation of reservation received, I contacted the hotel to confirm details and enquire about staying an extra day if needed. Staff confirmed the booking however they were rude about my enquiry for the extra night saying for no reason, during the conversation the staff member stated they were already fully book today...

Booked a suite for 4. Turns out the suite is on the top floor. Our luggages are quite heavy, so there are some heavy lifting since there is no lift. Room is small but clean, with a queen bed and two double beds. The private bathroom is extremely tiny, and when you shower the water with be all over the...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
