Room was small but comfortable. Had air conditioning so alternated between that and opening the window. Great location, easy walking distance to parks, shops, and two tube stations. Room was always cleaned in a timely manner

This hotel was a great deal. Great location, close to two tube stations and plenty of shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was a little small, but it was only myself and I spent very little time in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I don't have any complaints and would definitely...

Was booked into this hotel by the people who invited me to attend an event in London. The hotel was easy to reach via Bayswater station. It is also a short walk to Queensway Station & Kensington Gardens. The room was clean and adequate for a good night's rest with the usual amenities. This includes good wifi that is free....

Our bathrooms vary in size depending of your room choice and we would suggest to maybe contacting us directly in the eventuality of a future stay. We offer a continental breakfast, as mentioned...

Fair priced hotel with fantastic location. Literally a 4 minute walk to Bayswater underground stop. Good restaurants and pubs right around the corner. Front desk was nice and helpful. We had the double bed garden view room- not much of a garden view (small garden as well). If you've been to NYC hotels, you'll be used to small rooms, so...

Thank you so much for your feedback! We are indeed very well located and being so close to the park is always appreciated, specially when the sun show up! Our check-in time is at 2pm, so we can guaranty all our rooms to be ready for that time. When a guest arrives earlier we usually try to find a room...

This is a nicely renovated hotel on a quiet square in London. It is a five minute walk to the Bayswater tube stop and under 15 minutes to get to Paddington RR station. Hotel has a breakfast, a bit price but there are plenty of places near by to get a croissant or even a McDonalds. Room was pleasant and...

I stayed double room at basement floor for 5 nights without window view. It is small but clean. Wifi is fast enough. Maybe my room was near a lift, I could easily hear the noise. Staff were polite and friendly. The location was really good. There were bakery, post office, 3, laundry store, Subway, Coop nearby. It was so convenient...

We are glad that you appreciated our little neighborhood; it is indeed very convenient thanks to its shops and coffees but also very well located. We have different type of double rooms and those in our lower ground are being offered at a cheaper rate as we do realise that the view isn’t at its best. The comfort of those...

This hotell has a nice location near Hyde Park and is 4 minutes away from the nearest underground station (Bayswater). The rooms are clean and the staff is very polite and provides great service. The only thing that I am not satisfied with is that we ordered our room through hotels.com where it said that the rooms with two single...

Thank you for your review. We are happy that you appreciated the location of our hotel and that our staff was able to help you during your check-in. Our twin rooms have 2 single beds and therefore can only be suitable for 2 people. For safety reasons, we aren’t allowed to welcome more guests than the room capacity. We are...

I stayed with my wife and two daughters in a family room. The room was roomy enough, it had a safe, and the kids each had their own, comfortable twin bed. Our room was at the garden level but we didn't get much street noise. The hotel building itself is very attractive and is set among similarly attractive buildings on...

It had all the items needed for a comfortable sleep. My room was a small efficiency(?) next to the first floor elevator. I could hear whenever anybody got off of it, though it only annoyed me really late at night when I was already in bed and they were talking loudly (I was not quite asleep). Also, when people flushed...

Thank you for your review. We apologize for the noise level you experienced. Our hotel is located in a refurbish Victorian house and it can be a bit tricky sometimes to correct this aspect. My family of 4 stated in the lower level family room for 3 nights. The room was quiet and clean but very small for us which I expected based on other reviews. The location was great with lots of different types of cuisine in the neighborhood.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
