Good Location, near the British Museum, Local Park and tube stations. There are some large rooms available so you can stay without feeling packed in. The rooms are of a traditional style. Eating is best outside of the hotel as there are lots of delights to experience.

The locations of this hotel is excellent. Less than 5 minutes from Holborn station. There are few rooms and very quiet. Rooms are large. There are several townhouse hotel in the street all linked together. Breakfeast is ok and served 1 minute down the street. You have all you need for a longer stay. Not very modern, but OK. Good...

Stayed overnight when visiting the theatre to see The Book of Mormon. Lovely room with wifi. Was really warm & there was no air con, but a fan was available which was a godsend. Great continental breakfast too. Easily accessible for buses & tube.

We had reservations at the Russell, but we moved due to construction, Our experience with the Russell was extremely unfavorable, but the Grange Portland turned out to be a very pleasant surprise indeed! A really nice, clean, functional, and roomy bedroom; a delicious breakfast in the sister hotel nearby; lifts (always a plus in small London accommodations!); wifi and small...

We stayed at the Grange Portland Hotel for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was huge (and compared to Paris hotels, it was monumental) and included a kitchenette, bathroom with shower AND tub, bottled water delivered each day, fantastic continental breakfast (had to go to the Grange sister hotel next door for the breakfast but that was...

I booked in one hotel on this street and got a free upgrade to a huge room in an adjacent property. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and bright with a comfortable bed and kitchenette. It's in a great part of London, on a quiet street very near the British Museum and close to several tube...

Last time I stayed in this area I went for a budget hotel. This time I decided to pay a bit more and hopefully get a larger room. The room I reserved at the Grange Portland was advertised as 'single room, 12 sq. meter with city views'. What I have- I am still here- is a tiny shoebox in the...

The hotel is very convenient for British Museum and is a couple of minutes from Russel Square tube. My room although small was very comfortable. I thought I had two wardrobes but when I opened one of them I found a kitchenette. There was a sink, fridge and microwave. The wi fi was free and very fast. My only criticism...

We just returned from a one week stay at the Grange Portland and had a great time using the Grange Portland as a base for London exploration. We arrived prior to check in time, but the hotel allowed us to leave our bags until the rooms were ready. The hotel is a converted terrace house. A lift is available and...
