Treehouse Hotel was founded on the ideas that inspire a child to build a treehouse. Adventure, independence, cozy spaces and repurposing crafty things are what make a place warm and special. That’s why every Treehouse Hotel celebrates found objects, nostalgic tunes, handmade details and locally sourced treats. True to its iconic location, Treehouse London is the gateway to everything British. We’re perfectly perched across the street from the BBC and a stone's throw from the movers and shakers on Regent and Bond Streets. Take in the landscape of London Town from above at our rooftop oasis offering world-class views of the London Eye, The Shard, Canary Wharf and The Regent’s Park.

Great place to stay and amazing location. Staff were really lovely and very helpful throughout our stay - help store luggage, booked a transfer to the airport during the train strikes and just overall made life easy. Room was so spacious and especially for a London hotel. Only issue was the construction and we had men walking past our window in the AM... That should be over soon - can't wait to see the actual view when it's visible.

From our arrival to reaching the room, as well as dining and drinks on the top floor, this place delivers on every level. Gracious and helpful staff, clean and highly functional rooms, delicious food and cocktails and, the icing on the cake, spectacular views across London like you've never seen. It's a hidden gem and won't remain our best kept secret for long...!!

A 1960s, currently scaffolding clad, office block, the top floors of which have become a trendy boutique hotel, but one suffering a problem of style over function. Firstly, the entrance, looks like a coffee shop. Reception is actually on 15th floor, but next to the restaurant, which in the evening is more of a nightclub, so is very noisy. It was hard to hear the receptionist. They demanded photo ID and a £120 credit card deposit, neither of which I had on me at the time. ID check certainly isn’t standard for a UK hotel (not one I’ve stayed in recently anyway) and the deposit seemed steep to cover additional charges incurred. The rooms are on floors 9-14. Mine on the 9th was small but well appointed. The bed was comfortable with soft pillows. The aircon controls were very strange with no text, just coloured symbols on a little touchscreen. The room did cool down eventually, but the aircon was noisy, with lots of clicking and whirring so I switched it off at bedtime. There’s no kettle, so how you’re supposed to make tea with the teabags supplied I don’t know. There was no tarrif for the minibar and I couldn’t find one online. One online review said the Nespresso coffee capsules were not complimentary either. Again, without any information in the room, I left this all well alone. The bathroom is spacious, but there is nowhere to hang your towels to dry. The controls for the shower are *outside* the shower so to adjust the temperature or change to the hand shower you have to get out. The lifts in this place are bizarre. Rooms are only accessible from 2 of the 3 lifts, the reception and restaurants only accessible from the third. You spend your time going up and down and changing lifts. You have to hold your keycard over a panel in the lifts to make them work, but this seemed to work only some of the time. I was served someone else’s breakfast twice before getting my ‘fry up’. Pork products are inexplicably absent - so it was a beef chorizo (which tasted like frankfurter to me) and turkey bacon. A bizarre pot of black beans accompanied the dish which had no flavour at all, and one small slice of sourdough toast but no butter. My coffee Americano was delicious, but was served in a small beaker with no handle, so was hard to pick up. All in all, this hotel will probably appeal to young, wealthy, millennials wanting a quirky, modern place to stay in the centre of town. The views are excellent but the quirks of the place outweighed the benefits for me. Stayed one night on business.

The energy at this hotel was amazing and upbeat from the moment we arrived. The check in staff were delightful, happy and helpful. Our room was HUGE by London standards and there was plenty of space for us to move around during our stay. The bathroom was particularly spacious. We loved the styling and character of the hotel, it was very us. As for the location, you are a short five minute walk from Oxford Circus so the location is almost unbeatable. The rooftop bar can get a little noisy but it didn't bother us. The breakfast upstairs is delicious also. Loved Treehouse and we hope we can revisit in the future, we did not want to leave! Oh it is worth mentioning there is construction going on. We weren't warned there would be tradesman outside our window in the morning so thank goodness we were still in our clothing! Be prepared.

Very quirky which I love. Cuckoo clocks and a Paddington bear in our room were sweet additions. The rain shower was perfect too although I’m not sure why the shower wall was glass so you could see your room partner on the loo if taking a shower! Thank goodness there was a curtain to spare any blushes!! The toiletries were of high quality. Staff were lovely and very attentive- nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately (and not the hotels fault) the scaffolding ruined the experience. We had to have the blind down in our room all of the time as building contractors were walking just outside of our room. This meant we couldn’t admire the spectacular view from the gorgeous window seat and the room was perpetually gloomy (some though might say it was atmospheric!). This wasn’t the hotels fault but we should’ve been informed before we got there and maybe offered an incentive to still come if we had rooms on that side of the building. It was a shame we weren’t prepared.

Very disappointed with our stay - here. Our first room was terrific - very spatial and well appointed - however unfortunately it was very interrupted by building site works - which is mentioned on the hotels website but not when booking through the booking sites. For us this was a parade of workmen on scaffolding walking past our window from 8.00 am - only solution was to pull down blackout blinds- the hotel then agreed to move us - however rather than give us a similar room they have placed us in a small room in the hotel which is not well appointed and tiny even by London standards - suitable for one person and not what we had originally paid for at over $ 600 Australian a night - I would not have booked this room as no place to open suitcases and we still have two nights left - suggest you seriously check out where your room is located before booking here - there are plenty of other hotels offering value for money. This is a shame as the hotel staff have been friendly - I don’t give this review lightly and is my only negative review in past five years.

Great place, central with all of London in walking distance. The site, especially the interior, is innovative, indeed. Fit for discussion - do we need more than a green tint to save our future? Enjoy!

The staff were all wonderful, the suite was spacious and full of original touches, like a little record player or a freestanding bathtub with a view. Great views all around! The only downside was construction noise. I would be happy to come back any time though.

My husband and I stayed at the Treehouse hotel on the last night of a 10-day trip to London and the Cotswolds. We went low-key on all our other hotel reservations so we decided to splurge and get a king suite for our final night. I am so glad we did because it was truly fabulous! The room was clean, stylish, but also very well designed. I've stayed in some "boutique" hotels lately where they think a turntable and fun wallpaper makes up for a lack of basic hotel room stuff (enough empty shelves, places to put your suitcases, etc). Treehouse was both stylish AND very thoughtfully and conveniently laid out. The views of the city were breathtaking, the shower was large with plenty of hot water and good water pressure, and the bed was insanely comfortable. Also, the hotel very kindly stored our luggage from about 10:30am until our room was ready for us at 3pm. I highly recommend the Treehouse Hotel and we would definitely stay there again! Oh, also, the neighborhood is super touristy and not my favorite in London, but we wanted to go to the British Museum and it was within walking distance, so in that sense the location was very good. It is a good neighborhood if you are visiting London and don't have a ton of time, since it is convenient to get to many of the major tourist attractions.
