This is the fifth Apex Hotel I've stayed in. Frankly, if there's one in the city I'm visiting, I rarely go past them. Very pleasant staff who seem to stay for long periods (always a good sign!) larger than normal rooms and very good level of facilities.

Great location. Perfectly placed to walk to Covent Garden and riverside attractions. Lovely room with comfy bed and good shower. Really quiet at night, you would never know you were in middle of London. Staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Used to stay here a lot on business as decent quality and good location but very disappointing trip this weekend. When a simple check in takes an age then presented with an incorrect exorbitant request to pre pay for both nights that had to be corrected the vibe wasn’t great! Sadly our room was thenfreezing and no warm air after over an hour of running the heating and waiting on a promised engineer who never showed! Moved to another room where again no functional heat so we gave up, only here 2 nights and can’t keep unpacking! Definitely air con issues in the hotel as corridors very warm but rooms freezing. No issues with beds/bathroom but sadly our final morning breakfast went wrong as they brought all hot food with entrees so Mgr realised my wife’s hot plate would get cold and said he’d bring it back in 5 mins. Right idea but we never saw him again and when we tried to get the hot plate of food back nobody had a clue. To be fair they offered to re make it but we had to leave. Hilariously when I then went for a quick check out by simply handing the key in as we had pre paid on check in the chap then approached me in the lobby and asked me to return to the desk to pay 60p for something! He didn’t know what, just the screen said we owed 60p, im afraid he got short shrift from me! Overall very disappointing so I’ll be finding another option for my next trip.

Originally moved from the central hotel to temple court. Room not ready, remote control control to the TV broken. Asked for TV repair 12pm, they forgot. Rang reception again at 6pm and visited by an employee who couldn’t fix. Promised another room, so I packed everything up to move rooms. 5 minutes later another visit from the manager who tried to fix TV, which again couldn’t be done. He then said he would get key cards for another room. He then came back 10 minutes later with a new remote control. This fixed the problem, and then he left. We then had to unpack again for the same room. Tainted out anniversary stay and I wouldn’t dream of staying in another Apex. Clearly if something goes wrong they are inept dealing with it, and offered absolutely nothing as an apology. All this after they moved us from our original hotel selection. We have just booked to come back to London for Xmas, needless to say, not at the Temple court hotel. Shocking !!

My second time staying at this hotel and I would return in a heart beat. The hotel is gorgeous, clean and very well located. You can get from Euston to this hotel via bus with a short walk. The hotel is a straight short walk to soho, passing the beautiful Somerset house on the way. This makes it perfect for going for food. The staff are very friendly and check in was simple. The room is modern, clean and has everything you need. The highlight is the incredible bed which is huge and so comfortable and we also loved the modern bathroom. The walk in shower is powerful and the bath was also huge. My slightly criticism which is not negative feedback and was hard to find is that the room was a bit too warm at night and it didn’t seem the aircon was doing much to help this. I do prefer a opening window but this is entirely personal pretence. Housekeeping kept everything perfect! Overall just a great stay once again!
