Small, basic but clean room in need of updating. Our room was 100 steps from the breakfast room so great workout in the morning. Good selection continental breakfast. Excellent location close to bus stop and station.

I stayed one night at The Blades Hotel, which was an enjoyable experience. I was greeted with a warm welcome on arrival. The room was bright, clean and well equipped. The house itself is delightful, and very well run. My bed was extremely comfortable and, as lone traveller, I felt very at ease in the hotel. Breakfast was continental, simple... More

excellent location in Pimlico; it was a vary warm night and quite a bit of traffic in the street - choice between window open=too loud and closed=too warm; we had to leave early and were supplied with a huge breakfast tray - wonderful!

I stayed at The Blades Hotel for one night last week. I booked it because it was cheap and close to where I was working. The hotel itself is a budget, centrally located B&B. I had pretty low expectations. Just before my business trip I injured my knee and was on crutches when I arrived on Thursday evening. The woman... More

Booked a double room after reading many good reviews. The reception staff were quite polite but our problems started when we were offered a room on the 4th floor, There was no lift and carrying 2 heavy suit cases to the top floor along a narrow staircase was no fun at all. The wifi was non-existent in the 3rd and... More

We are a 'value driven' budget hotel in one of the most expensive areas of London. These fine old Victorian Buildings are 'Listed Buildings of Historical Value' and Westminster Council do not permit us to instal a lift, as it would spoil the integrity of the whole building. This guest was only staying one night and was assisted by Katarina... More

Nice room (triple room) in a nice hotel, Pimlico is a very quiet place. Very clean hotel with a good continental breakfast. An italian girl was at the reception so she helped us a lot. I would return in this hotel and I recommend it if you want to have a good, comfortable and clean bedroom in London. Outside the... More

We booked here through Hotels.com and after reading such wonderful reviews we were confident that we has chosen well. The out side is nice and we were greeted warmly upon our arrival. We were told our room was on the top floor and there was no lift. Lugging 2 suitcases 20 KG each up 8 flights and each flight about... More

We are sorry to hear this guest's opinion as when he was with us, he was not limping and didn't ask for a change of room. We give great value and for this guest to say that we are “nothing near top end” is very odd as top end would suggest a five star hotel. We are a budget hotel... More

Visit to London for concert and show. Our room was at the very top of hotel,so staircase could be a problem for some people, and they should advise you of this when booking. However we enjoyed our night there and found the room very comfortable, clean and quiet, which was great. The breakfast was good and we found the staff... More

Clean rooms, good breakfast, wonderful customer service and good communication with the staff prior to our arrival and during our stay. We had to leave early before breakfast the last day and they provided us with food since we would miss the meal. Wifi was spotty at times, but mostly ok. Restaurant choices were limited nearby. Subway stop was close.

I Strongly suggest any travellers, especially for business, against staying at this property. The rooms are third rate. There were no telephones or working internet in the rooms during my stay. The hotel is old and outdated and in serious need of a refurbishment. There is no elevator in the hotel and access to rooms higher than the 1st floor... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
