This B&B served our needs and our host was very helpful. Good location, beds, breakfast and host. The only drawbacks were the eight flights of stairs to our top floor room (no elevator), and the very small bathroom (shower, sink & stool).

For the price this hotel was an awesome value. The neighborhood was great and the Tube was less than a 5 minute walk away. It was centrally located and a very quick ride to all our destinations. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was quite small but modern. We were on the 4th floor facing the street which...

What a great place! The location is ideal, close to tube, pub, food shop and coffee shop. We hoped the tube to downtown no problems. Also caught a play in West end and had dinner all on tube lines. The pictures don't do it justice, lovely leafy streets, early morning walk for coffee down the path along the Thames to...

Small, basic but clean room in need of updating. Our room was 100 steps from the breakfast room so great workout in the morning. Good selection continental breakfast. Excellent location close to bus stop and station.

I stayed one night at The Blades Hotel, which was an enjoyable experience. I was greeted with a warm welcome on arrival. The room was bright, clean and well equipped. The house itself is delightful, and very well run. My bed was extremely comfortable and, as lone traveller, I felt very at ease in the hotel. Breakfast was continental, simple...

excellent location in Pimlico; it was a vary warm night and quite a bit of traffic in the street - choice between window open=too loud and closed=too warm; we had to leave early and were supplied with a huge breakfast tray - wonderful!

I stayed at The Blades Hotel for one night last week. I booked it because it was cheap and close to where I was working. The hotel itself is a budget, centrally located B&B. I had pretty low expectations. Just before my business trip I injured my knee and was on crutches when I arrived on Thursday evening. The woman...

Booked a double room after reading many good reviews. The reception staff were quite polite but our problems started when we were offered a room on the 4th floor, There was no lift and carrying 2 heavy suit cases to the top floor along a narrow staircase was no fun at all. The wifi was non-existent in the 3rd and...

We are a 'value driven' budget hotel in one of the most expensive areas of London. These fine old Victorian Buildings are 'Listed Buildings of Historical Value' and Westminster Council do not permit us to instal a lift, as it would spoil the integrity of the whole building. This guest was only staying one night and was assisted by Katarina...

Nice room (triple room) in a nice hotel, Pimlico is a very quiet place. Very clean hotel with a good continental breakfast. An italian girl was at the reception so she helped us a lot. I would return in this hotel and I recommend it if you want to have a good, comfortable and clean bedroom in London. Outside the...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
