The apartment, 1 bedroom, was a nice apartment, clean and with good amenities. It needs however some renovation, the tap on the washbasin in the washroom is not working properly, the seat cover on the toilet is broken and, there is no daily cleaning at least for bad and washroom linen. We did not use the kitchen, which is fantastic,...

I would recommend this location, however my only comment is the beds do need to be replaced. For a few nights its fine, although after a week I was very much looking forward to a more comfortable sleep. The rooms themselves are great, and the facilities have everything you would need for an extended stay in London. Would happily provide...

Just back from our second visit here with friends for a long weekend break. Lovely place to stay surrounded by great bars and restaurants and only 5 mins walk from the shops, tube/bus stop and of course St Paul's . Apartment very clean and well appointed - highly recommended. Hopefully we will be back for a third visit

This is a great alternative to an extended hotel stay. We stayed for a week with a family of four, incl. two young boys and we needed the flexibility of two bedrooms and a lounge. The kitchen allowed us to cook proper meals at breakfast plus dinner and dodge the restaurant conveyer belt. The staff was brilliant and assisted us...

Great location.we stayed in a two bedroom apartment it was spotless. Considering we was in London it was so quite. The apartment had everything you needed and across the road was a marks and Spencer's to stock up. I would definitely recommend staying here. Extremely friendly staff on front desk.

This is the second time we have stayed at the King's Wardrobe. The location is terrific and safe, the staff is genuinely thoughtful, and the services are exceptional. The best part of the King's Wardrobe is that it feels like home in the middle of a very busy city.

Three adult family members shared a two bed two bath apartment in September. We were delighted with the warm welcome we received as we stepped out of our taxi. The leafy tree lined courtyard paves the way to the attractive entrance and in our case, the lift to the third floor was easily accessible. We were pleasantly surprised by the...

We stayed in a two bedroom, two and a half bathroom apartment for 8 days while we were visiting London. The location is excellent and is just a short walk to several Tube stations. As other reviewers have indicated we ended up using the Black Friars station the most. The kitchen and bathroom are all updated and wonderful to use....

Welcoming, quiet, proximity to tube, bus and sights. Near to food halls to stock your fridge. Clean, personable, beautiful. My second stay here, and will return in a heartbeat. No complaints, no problems, amazing staff. Thank you, again

I stayed here for five nights whilst working in the city. The main attraction to me of the apartments that they are wheelchair accessible and Tobey, the general manager, was incredibly helpful in arranging the delivery and pickup of some disability related items I needed. Also the parking underneath the apartment building was a godsend if a little bit tricky...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
