My first time at this brand of hotel... booked by work. The setting is very nice, in a peaceful square overlooking some nice gardens. The building itself was lovely. The check-in process was pleasant - the open areas well appointed. The lifts were prompt and the room was very nice. Good quality furnishings, not a bad size for London, had...

Two night B&B stay - after a problem at check-in, I was very pleased with my well equipped room and the lovely breakfasts - I also enjoyed seeing the beautiful Magnolia tree in full bloom as I came and went through the courtyard!!

Lovely hotel. Very nice, clean, good sized bedrooms with clean and well maintained bathrooms. Wifi is free. I arrived late and check in by the night receptionist was very fast and professionally done. I didn't have breakfast or use the restaurants. All in all a good value overnight stay in central London.

We wanted a hotel convenient to Victora Station and Tate Britain and could not have picked a better one. This hotel fronts Vincent Square a hidden oasis in the area which is the playing fields for Westminster School and is enormous. It is quiet and discrete. We stayed for one night and our room was on the ground floor and...

My local London client booked this property for me for a 3 night stay. I've never stayed at any Grange before. It was not only convenient to the office (2 blocks away), I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. The English breakfast was included, and was delicious. Good coffee! Convenient in-room minibar and coffee was a nice touch....

This well located hotel is all you need in London. Well furnished rooms and a very good continental breakfast. We asked for a room high floor - far from elevator and we had a very beautiful room located on the third floor. This hotel is not expensive but it has nothing less then an expensive hotel could offer. I definetly...

I stayed here two nights as I was attending a self development workshop on the Saturday which was held in this hotel. Aside from serious faced staff, although polite, this hotel was amazing and I loved it. I had a single room on the first floor. It had a large single bed (possibly a small double) sumptuous curtains, a mini...

The entrance doesn't do the interior justice Quite scruffy and could do with some TLC as the building is beautiful with views over the park in front Smart reception and friendly staff greet you on arrival and the rooms very well decorated One point I would make is in this day and age better coffee making facilities in the rooms...

We were really pleased with the location of this hotel. On a quiet square, overlooking playing fields, it doesn't feel like central London but is just a few minutes walk from restaurants, pubs and tourist attractions. The room was a good size and very comfortable. I did feel the staff could have given us a warmer reception, and I wasn't...

Stayed there because had appointments in immediate area. Booked an "apartment" - similar to a "day suite" in US - Queen bed with side lamps (pillows hard as rocks) and bright bath (no electrical outlet) with kitchenette and small fridge, small table and 2 chairs, sofa and small desk and chair. Quite adequate, clean, quiet. But, while the staff (mostly...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
