Stayed in the accommodation over the summer. The staff were extremely rude and inconsiderate. This included the Hall manager, and several members of the daytime reception. What annoyed me was that they treated you like students, not a hint of professionalism. As an example, I had just left my luggage in the corridor after arriving, when a female member of...

We stayed at Carr-Saunders Hall for 2 days (14-16 Septemver 2011). The staff was very friendly and polite. The room wasn't big, but you didn't feel discomfort because of that. It was clean as well as the bathroom. But it was a bit noisy out during the night (windows faced a road). Location is excellent.

The excellent location encouraged me to try this and Carr-Saunders Hall offers a very pleasant couple of nights at affordable prices. The Rooms are simple, cosy and clean. Just the thing if you're on a budget and looking to stay central. Toilet and shower facilities are shared, and they to are well maintained. Preferred choice to Travel Lodge or Premier...

If you're looking to find a way to save money on lodging while visiting London and don't want to deal with a hostel, then LSE's Carr-Saunders Hall is the place to stay. The rooms are dorm rooms so don't expect much, but if you're in London on a vacation then you're probably only going to be in the room while...

Carr Saunders hall is in an excellent position for getting around central London. The rooms were clean and basic. The toilet and shower facilities were not en suite and the place is a bit of a rabbit warren so it took a while to orientate. Though our two rooms were booked together we were not on the same floor which...

I stayed here for one night in the cheapest room on a business trip. It's pretty basic accommodation. You get a student room with simple bed, no TV or internet in the room, a wash basin, and bathroom and kitchen down the hall. If you've ever lived in a student halls of residence, this place will give you flashbacks! The...

if you want a bed, breakfast, and shower facilities you can't ask for better value than this. The staff were very hlpful (booked us a taxi etc etc), the rooms clean and basic, and the breakfast was good. The showers could have been hotter, and the rooms a bit cooler, but all round can't complain.

London School of Economics' Carr-Saunders Hall was my choice for 3 nights in London, being cheap at 33 British pounds/night including generous breakfast, close to Underground, and in a safe neighborhood. I expected a spartan dorm room from the description, and got what I paid for--bed, closet, desk and chair, lamp, and in-room sink. Room was plain and clean. Bathroom...

I stayed here for 3 nights, bed and breakfast, for less than £100, which would be good value anywhere, and for centrsal London is little short of miraculous. It's importnat to remember that this is NOT a hotel - it's a University Hall of residence, and the accommodation reflects that; the room has a bed, desk and sink and that's...

Check-in was rather laid-back, but friendly enough. We did not have time to use many of the facilities, but the place seemed underused, although the area has many hostels and is noisy in the early evening. Later, it is quieter. Our room's bathroom was a little dated and needed updating, but the room was quite large and, in fact seemd...
