Have just completed a two-year stint working in London for a firm in Aldwych and I was lucky enough to discover this little gem early on. Great location. 5 mins walk to Euston station. Set in its own crescent so not much traffic noise. Clean. Well kept. Quality breakfasts. Very good value for money. But the thing that makes this...

Possibly the worst room, that I have every stayed in. Stained carpet. Cracked walls. A sink with no plug, and with no en suite, washing was difficult. The communal shower with toilet, were in the hallway and very small. Wet towels from previous guests, left laying on the floor. Only one light bulb, working above the bed. The hairdryer didn't...

This is a very conveniently located budget hotel in London. The service staff are friendly and helpful and courteous. The room was chosen and paid for by a company so I shouldn't really complain, however, if you get room number 3 when you check in, ask for another room. It smelled horrible. I don't know if there is something in...

Have stayed here on 3 occasions, bit shabby and run down but good price and location, the staff are always very friendly and helpful. the last stay took a turn for the worse when a rather large rat went bolting across my room late at night!! at that point friendliness of the staff and value for money goes out the...

The staff are friendly but the room, especially the bathroom were run down and in need of a refurb. The bathroom had a mouldy smell and the window did not close properly so it was very cold in there. The rest of the room did the job well enough for one night.

I booked a single room for two nights for less than £140. I was impressed by the crescent the hotel was part of, walking into the hotel I felt comfortable and was greeted by a smile. Booking in was quick and efficient. Being alone I booked a single room and was given room C, I loved it. It was small...

Great location for central London - close to Euston and Kings Cross stations. Excellent value, good facilities and breakfast although as in converted building rooms are not sleek and sophisticated thought very clean - free wifi that works a real bonus

Before we arrived this was not going to be good because when booking through booking.com, we had put our credit card details on the site to book the hotel £325.00 and on that same day somebody had fraudulently used the credit card details to book flights with blue sky travel for Romania when questioning booking.com they said it was not...

If you just need a convenient, reasonable place to stay and your focus is on attending a SOAS course or visiting the British Museum, this is a good choice. It's a 12-minute walk to either of the above in a neighborhood of a good Waitrose and lots of convenient stores and fast food shops. My room (5) was very small...

Having previously used chain hotels when staying in central London, I found this hotel a pleasant change; it is more of a B&B, than a hotel. Check in was easy and the staff member friendly and efficient, as were all the staff I encountered during the stay. My single room didn't feel too small and had a nice view over...

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
