The rooms are really clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very small but still it was perfectly clean and the furniture seemed pretty new. The employees were kind and welcoming. Breakfast at the lounge was also great - it felt like being at a host family's kitchen. The women who worked at the hotel served you the juice or coffee,...

Myself and my husband plus our friends stayed here this weekend. When we got to the hotel, there was no-one there so we had to call the hotel down the street. The man eventually came and let us leave our stuff as we were visiting the Olympia near by. When we got back later that night, we let ourselves in...

I booked this for my husband and I as we were going tot he Apollo and it was an easy walk. Plus it was less than half the price of the IBIS. The room was small but everything you want inside. Free WiFi, shower ensuite with bottles of goodies - which was a sort of 'built-in unit' within the room,...

We waited outside in the rain for 6 minutes waiting for the manager to open the door for us. When he finally did, he seemed overly-cautious, and asked our friend (the only white male in the group) if he was with us, before finally letting us get our keys. Needless to say the service was terrible.

This hotel is a (relative) bargain for London. I wish I had the option to rate it "fair" given the circumstances. I would have dared to rate it good if it weren't for two issues.. This was my first trip to London and I chose this hotel due to its easy access to Heathrow and other attractions. Other pros are...

The hotel is part of a group of three, The Saphire, the Pearl and the Emerald which are situated next to each other. We stayed at the Pearl / Emerald. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the floof in the entrance was very impressive being decoratively tiled with marble like tiles. The room was adequate with a small fridge and...

I was booked to stay at the Sapphire Hotel for 2 nights last week. As with most people on here, I ended up for some reason being checked into the Pearl Hotel instead (which I presume is a sister hotel). When I arrived I was in a rush to get to a meeting and it was heavily raining, the man...
