My husband and I have stayed many time in The Oaks while visiting the family and it never fails, it is consistently a great guest house. This time we stayed in their fairly new self contained unit and it was almost like having a small flat. I would suggest trying to set a fix oven and a hob so the...

Stayed there on a business trip. The location is quiet, clean and well maintained. The atmosphere of the house and the attitude of the people are very enjoyable. For sightseeing in London a bit far out, but if you are looking for a place around Southgate the best call.

We don't usually stay at guest houses but the location and reviews of the oaks made it worth trying. A great decision ! Its like a show home, beautifully designed and decorated. Spacious room with end suite shower room on 2nd floor, modern, spotless, every amenity. Quiet area, comfortable quality bed and fittings. Breakfast included was continental but eggs cooked...

Could not fault the breakfast, though we only had the cereal and toast, fresh...

My husband and I had spent 10 days in Cambridge where he was a speaker for the Wilberforce Academy at Sidney Sussex college. The accommodations were nice, but we ended up with twin beds and dorm mattresses. We chose The Oaks to spend a Saturday night because it was close to the church where my husband was speaking in Southgate...

A clean, quiet and pleasant place to stay in a great location! Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and the rooms were spacious. Very reasonably priced too. The hospitality was nice, the people that run the place were friendly and I would definitely stay here again. I really liked how the local tube station got us into Central London in...

I stayed twice at The Oaks Guest House in July. Breda who operates The Oaks, is very kind and hospitable, and the rooms are tasteful and comfortable. The first room was a large room with a shower, and the second was a smaller room overlooking the back garden. The second room had a bath tub which is very welcome after...
