We stayed at the Meridiana for one night prior to onward travel via Eurostar to the continent. We chose this B&B for its location, being a two minute walk from St Pancras and in a quiet square away from the Euston Road. Rooms are small but well furnished. Air conditioning is by means of opening the window on arrival and...

Pros: My room was spotless, and recently redone. Housekeeping came in every day to clean it. The room was tiny, but not as small as I expected from other reviews I read. There was plently of space for my suitcase. The room had a flat screen tv with digital cable, which was a nice perk. The location was awesome. Literally...

We stayed there for three nights last week. The staff upstairs were kind, the room was fine - small, as many London rooms are, but comfortable. The breakfast was almost adequate, but definitely not served with a smile. The tiny shower went from cold water to dangerously hot with no warning. But the biggest problem for us was that every...

My girlfriend and I travelled to London and stayed here for three nights before taking the Eurostar from St Pancras. The location for the Eurostar terminal is truly a top selling point of this hotel. It is just a couple of minutes walk but in a quiet and relatively secluded street that feels far-removed from the noise of the main...

I and my coleague stayed at the Meridiana Hotel in London in March 2010, fortunately only for one night. We chose this hotel because of the location, with it being close to St Pancras International. First impression was ok, until we got to check in and were told that our pre-booked room had not been paid for, because our credit...

Standing in the centre of the room I could pretty much touch all four walls. However, this particular room has its own shower and small sink which was a bonus. The shared toilet was downstairs. Being at the back of the hotel it was quiet. The heating was effective. The room had a TV with 5 channels, small wardrobe, tea/coffee...

We travelled UK and stopped at London for 1 1/2 days. As always we had checked out tripadvisor and booking.com for reviews before we actually got our room reserved which was a good thing because when we reached the hotel we found a sign on the door saying "fully occupied" Anyway to start from the beginning, since we werent going...

I just needed a hotel for 1 night close to Kings Cross due to travel & work commitments. The Meridiana provided a clean, tidy and comfortable solution at a very reasonable (london!) rate of £48 for a single room (bed and breakfast). 2 minute walk from Kings Cross but a nice quiet location, away from the hustle & bustle of...

I chose this hotel for where it was not what it was and therefore got what I expected. A good location for London exploration by tube at a ‘reasonable’ price. Some good pubs and restaurants close at hand. Good for catching the Eurostar. The rooms were tiny and you may have difficulty stuffing yourself and your luggage in so consider...

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
