Stayed here for 3 nights. Great central London location with a fantastic Continental breakfast (best we've ever had at hotel). Staff were very friendly and helpful. We traveled with our daughter and we're very pleased to find a cot, baby soap/shampoo, and baby blankets in the room when we arrived. Very well maintained historic building in a good area. Would...

We booked two nights at this hotel months ago in order to secure the "Harry Potter" rooms and our kids were so excited. It turned out to be a complete disappointment. We were first met by staff who were very rude and unprofessional - pompous, aloof and negative. They were clearly not British and didn't even know what Harrods department...

Booked the hotel for a romantic trip to London and it didn't disappoint. Really comfy room and wonderful breakfast. We were concerned about the traffic noise but the heavy duty drapes ensured that we hardly heard a thing. Highly recommended, next trip to London we'll be staying again.

We stayed for four nights, choosing one notch above the basic rooms. The first night we were in a spacious, bright room third-floor (American) walkup in the annex around the corner. We asked to move to the main building to be closer to the restaurant and lobby, and got a slightly smaller second-floor antique-feel room, also with windows onto the...

We had a one night stay at The Georgian House hotel. We chose this as a base because of its positive reviews, reasonable price and proximity to The Apollo Victoria (we had booked tickets to see Wicked). The area is surprisingly quiet for being Central London, with good rail/tube connections from Victoria within a 10 minute walk. The hotel decor...

A very nice B&B that i about 5 minutes walk from Victoria station and easy walking distance from mostly everything. We stayed for three nights, family of 2 adults + 2 children. Our room was downstairs from the reception and over our expectations. 2 rooms, one showerroom and one toilet. 1 room was with twinsize bed and the other one...

It has been 2 years since I last stayed here and despite the length of time, staff still remembered us and our special requests that we'd had the last time. What more could have been done to make us feel welcome and at home? It was very special. In my absence, the breakfast room has been completely renovated and now...

I only stayed at the Georgian House for one night, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was very well looked after. All staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I was staying in a room around the corner from the main hotel and I was walked around by the gentleman on reception and shown everything I...

We stayed with the kids at the Georgian house'wizard chamber. The room was really "magical" comfortable and with all the props that amazed the kids..and us. The staff went far and beyond to assure we had the best possible experience...they even ordered pizza at 10pm to be eaten while watching an Harry potter DVD. The breakfast was simply the most...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
