Slightly wary because of reviews. Stayed one night in a basic family room, there were 5 of us. Great price for location and included breakfast. Reception very friendly and easy check in. Room was clean and comfortable with an en suite shower room, tv and...More
Basic hotel with an interesting breakfast but not too bad, reasonable price considering the alternatives in the area, nice an close to the Albert Hall, was a little noisy in the room but for the price I didn't mind.

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
