At the beginning of my stay, I wrote a review about this hotel ( tiny bathroom, no hygiene, no housecleaning, etc). Now let me tell what happened at the end of my stay : a light burnt out in the hotel stairs, so I missed a step, fell over and sprained my ankle. When I told the staff about it,...

Looks good on website or says newly refurbished....not sure when newly meant! The reception staff are brilliant. The room was depressing. Looking out onto bins and laundry from another hotel who began their work very early...so very noisy. The bathroom was tiny and impossible to use with ease. The room was dark until you had to use 2 very bright...

Reserved 6 nights on booking.com When I got there I was told the hotel was overbooked and they would put me in a different one nearby with better rooms. They ended up putting me for 2 nights in a basement room that couldn't fit my luggage. Bathroom was despicable. Than I moved back to origina hotel. Hotel infrastructure is poor,...

Room is basic but all you need for a short break in London. Decor could do with a once over, bit of mould on the bathroom roof. Another mirror on a wall would have been handy. Only issue we really encountered was our key card refused to work for our door for two days in a row - this was...

Extremely hospitable host, very friendly! Room was clean & comfortable. Perfect for a quick stay. Area was beautiful and safe. Alot of things to do in the area and very close to everything. Underground was right around the corner and you could get anywhere.

I dont know why this hotel has such bad reviews. I was a little nervous after reading the reviews! Friendly receptionist! Was chatty and really kind Room was small but clean and just what your looking for for 1 night stay. The bed was comfy and the room warm. There is a cute little canteen if you need to make...

Stayed one night as Hotel of preference not available, moved there for the next 2 nights which was available. The bedding is clean, towels in good condition. These have to be the smallest rooms I have ever seen!!! Mine apparently slept a family of 3 - a double bed and a single, all packed together like sardines in a tin...

It should be called Exhibition Court HELL ! Triple room fit for one person, no housekeeping, extremely tiny bathroom ( sink looks like a toy !) , no furniture apart from beds, no phone in the room, fire alarm went on at 5 a.m. and scared everyone to death for nothing. Basic breakfast in extremely small basement. I'm still stuck...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
