This is a real nifty hotel, real high tech and good. Everything is clean. Everything is cool. All employees are nice guys and do their best to help. Only thing is the rooms are really compact, and for a larger man like myself not very good. Really nice hotel, just the rooms are a bit small. Great location also.

hello '276cman' thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts on TripAdvisor. our rooms are on the smaller side and we are the first to acknowledge this fact. We believe that today's modern traveler, forever visiting big cities, no longer require an abundance of space that is all added to the room price. We threw away the old...

We stayed here for 3 nights we loved the place we had already looked at the reviews and seen that the rooms had no tea making fertility's so we took our own kettle because we LOVE our Tea. The choice of films are brilliant we loved chilling out at night with a free film, The Shower was amazing the hair...

hey 'Pewepaige' thank you for the review on TripAdvisor. we are delighted that you enjoyed the stay. Free movies and fluffy towels are smart luxuries that all our citizens love. However, we are disappointed to learn we let you down on a few aspects during your stay. I am sorry that your bed sheets were not changed every second day...

This hotel is very quirky and modern with a chilled and inviting atmosphere. All staff were absolutely lovely which made our stay even more pleasant! The bedroom was a tad on the small side, although the stylish and fresh feel of the room does distract you from this (most of the time). The only complaint I have is that there...

We stayed at CitizenM for a couple of nights just as we had a few things we wanted to do in London and will definitely return. It’s really quite good fun and the public areas were absolutely buzzing throughout our visit. The bar area becomes a chill out area or office depending on what you want to do and the...

My partner and I stayed at the Citizen M for the weekend, having both been in London for work earlier in the week. We were really pleased with the whole experience. The atmosphere was great all weekend in the bar/reception any time of day or night. Our room was very clean, with a huge bed and really quirky features (including...

On our occasional visits to London we have previously stayed at other hotels in the Bankside area. We found this on the Internet and it looked interesting. It was a real pleasure to stay here - small comfortable room, great bed and blissfully quiet at night. We loved the super cool atmosphere, the tablet to work the room controls, free...

If you want lots of space in your room that you don't need then this hotel may not be for you but give it a try first as the shared areas, incredible atmosphere and amazing people that work here more than compensate. The price is highly competitive and the decor in the hotel is really pleasing. We were particularly impressed...

Stayed here for two nights, very enjoyable stay. Super comfortable beds, loved the Evian waiting in the fridge. High tech but easy to work, loved having access to all my stuff through the Apple TV. Mood lighting is a nice touch. I really appreciate the ease of self check in and check out. Had breakfast one morning, simple but fresh....

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
