Wouldn’t normally review a Travelodge as stay in so many but had to acknowledge great service, friendly team and a really clean decent room when I stayed here last night. Getting there is easy, car park decent size and other car parking options nearby. The ladies on reception and bar were very friendly, it’s so nice to see a team that come across as happy to work there, really reflects on the experience of the guest in my view. Thank you!

After a booking issue (accidental cancellation) Maria on the reception quickly sorted the issue with a big smile on her face. She was very helpful, professional and very nice throughout the process and managed to get me the room I requested. Thank you!

A great example of a travel lodge with parking in a central location. Cj and and rest of the staff at reception were super friendly staff, very welcoming and keen to help. Clearly labled menue for Gluten Free options. Would certainly recomend and will be coming again.

did not expect much as just wanted a place to sleep as we were in that area and did not want to travel to our usual hotel so was not bothered much by smell in room (if you close bathroom door it is fine) and sound from planes taking off/landing but since reception asked, we mentioned smell at checkout. then were asked if we raised the issue and told that had we done so, they would have offered a different room. was happy until receptionist started to tell us that we should put "no" to some question on their survey form as they had tried to resolve any issue. Perhaps we did not understand her but it was strange in our view that the hotel would discuss a survey form with us and actually try and influence how we completed a survey. i have never ever experienced this in other hotels and she continued talking even after we were clearly wanting to leave to catch a train. well, i never usually fill in forms but since you asked.....here it is, do not talk to us about how to fill in your survey forms and you would not have had this rating from us. room smells funny if bathroom door is opened and some noise due to proximity to airport. finally, final impression at check out not good - see above.
