Really appreciate the great service, Chiraag was incredibly warm and friendly. Perfect service at the bar and also a great check in service. Room was clean and tidy and reasonably priced - what more can you ask for.

Marina was so helpful, always ready to help our group, give us the proper information. It’s always a pleasure to speak our own language, specially when our interlocutor is so nice and proactive. Thank you very much Marina :)

The staff and reception area was very welcoming and check in/check out was very efficient and easy. The hotel itself was quiet and surrounding location was also very quiet. The room was spacious and clean! Only missing a bath mat on the floor and the non slip bath mat (in bathtub) needs to be changed more regularly. Other than that, it was a super pleasant stay.

We stayed with the travel lodge this weekend for a business trip, and we were so disappointed. Our room was very small the TV unwatchable the bathroom minimal the provided shampoo/body wash smell disgusting the bed was incredibly uncomfortable everything was very cramped. Then dinner was vile the chicken dry to the bone and seemed microwaved my business assistant had the pizza and said it was cold and rubbery the chips and cheese was microwaved the breakfast just as bad no cups for the juice both the apple and orange juice tasted like water no normal tea bags beans cold sausages and bacon also cold not white bread options eggs tasted like rubber All in all the experience was awful

My husband, daughter and I shared a room to go visit Jurassic world at the excel on 24/09/22 and I was pleasantly surprised! It was clean, quiet and staff we’re very helpful. I didn’t get the chaps name who was working there when we checked in and helped with a few things. Would definitely stay again.

AM Assistant Manager on site 25/09 had absolutely no customer service skills. I requested for her name and she refused. I informed her My intentions is to make a complaint against her lack of customer service skills, her attitude, tone and lack of interest to resolve the issue. I went to reception to reactivate my room key upon handed her the key she automatically said “you’re all checked out” she did communicate to me to ask what am I requesting. I informed her 5 minutes prior confirmed if I was staying until 26/09 so why would you automatically assume I was checking out. I asked the male colleague for the managers name whom informed me this was his second shift and did not know his Managers name. She lied and said I threw my room key at her and I was being hostile. I am requesting the CCTV surveillance as I am not impressed with staff members of your company lying!. In all the visits I’ve had with travelodge I have never experienced such a traumatic service! I informed her she needs to go back to basics and retrain because this does not reflect good on the company. I must say my encounter with the Assistant manager between 22/09 - 24/09 my experience has been absolutely superb! Her engagement was absolutely amazing and her delivering training to other staff showed really good leadership skills and excellent customer service. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was satisfactory!

Room smelled so bad, like it had been "cleaned" with a dirty filthy mop and bucket of scum water. Hotel full so no spare room to move to either. The smell was in and on everything and even started to make my own clothes smell after a two day stay. "Open the window" was the advice. Staff were utterly, hilariously, useless.

When I first walked into the room, I was impressed with the remodel, the room looked so much nicer than before, the view was lovely and the room overall was slightly bigger than some travelodge rooms. However, I realised that there wasn’t the usual extra 2 pillows on the shelf and went downstairs to request some more. The young man at the desk simply said sorry they don’t do that at this hotel and I was like, there’s usually always extra ones in the room already and he just said not at this hotel, I was taken aback because I have sinus problems so need the extra support to breathe at night. But fine, then we got a knock at the door a few hours later from a staff member stating there was an issue at check in and she needed to do it manually, she didn’t know when we were checking out so I had to remind her twice as she thought it was the next day when we booked two days, I reminded her as I didn’t want to have an issue with the keycard like we have had at our last stay. While she was there I asked her about the pillows because the other man was dismissive, she said she would track some down and come back. She never did come back, not even to say she couldn’t find any. And again, as expected at 12 the next day, our key card stopped working and I had to go downstairs to say we’re staying one more day with a late checkout, no apology nothing. I don’t complain if I don’t need to, but to be honest, I’m just beyond tired of booking hotels with travelodge and getting subpar service for ridiculous prices.

If you stay don't have Dinner eat elsewhere, breakfast is also not the best. Housekeeping not up to standard in corridors. While in bed had another couple walk in, our room had been allocated to someone else. I for one will never stay at Travelodge again. Terrible service in the last 2 stays in London.

Room was not ready when we arrived at 4.20pm despite arranging to arrive at 3pm. Rooms were ready at 5pm and staff attitude was that it was absolutely not their problem and that we would "just need to wait". Given keys for rooms after 5pm - this did not leave enough time for the kids to have a rest / get ready before heading back out. One of the room cards did not work (2 rooms). Both rooms were filthy - no duvet cover just a cotton wool feeling duvet, very strong smell of weed in all corridors, disgusting bathroom with previous guests brown smeared towels left and a poo in one of the toilets. Bath curtain was brown stained and mat was also brown, water temperature in one room was scalding and would not regulate. No soap in either of the dispensers. Pubic hair on floor and in bath. Reported to reception and told nothing could be done. Ordered juice from the bar and told there was no ice - drinks were warm. Glasses were dirty. Breakfast was ok, however whole area dirty and took excessive amount of time to refill especially pancakes and condiments. Such as shame as location was good for visiting Excel. Worst Travelodge we have stayed in.
