In the old Latvian Embassy building this place could be so much more. At only £60 for a solo room it's a bargain and much better than solo hostel rooms that are the same price, however if there's two of you might be worth spending the extra and getting somewhere a bit more luxurious (there is zero luxury here). For...

Highly recommended if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place at the centre of everything. The old Latvian embassy building in Bayswater runs a basic but friendly guesthouse with a big breakfast included for an amazing price. Simple rooms, but everything is just right: clean white sheets and towels, a comfortable bed (even if it's single), soap and shampoo...

Never stayed before in a VICTORIAN GUEST HOUSE. What an excellent experience. The decor, the spacious rooms, the friendly atmosphere of the EXCELLENT LATVIAN STAFF. Could u improve, i dont think so, especially for the LOW LONDON price. In my opinion much better value than AIRBNB. 4 min. walk to tube station & bus stop. One street away from the...

Stayed in a Double room with Shared Bathroom on our first night in UK. The shared bathroom was clean and we only had to share it with one other guest during our stay. It was also very convenient as the bathroom was just outside our room. Breakfast was included in the tariff but as we have to leave early (before...

I booked a single room. Basic room, comfortable bed. All basic requirements covered. Sink in the room. Shower room just outside to share between 4 rooms. And an extra toilet also. (No queue for shower room) Towels provided, with soap and shampoo. Tea/coffee making facilities. Hairdryer provided. Breakfast was nice. Cereals, toast, tea/coffee and cooked breakfast included in my rate....

I took a chance and booked a room at this guest house, not sure what I was getting when I booked as most of the rooms do not have en suite baths. However, each room has a sink and mirror in to manage most washing up, and I never found the showers to be any wait at all. The place...

We stayed here two different times with our grown children. The guest house is wonderfully located, about a 20 minute walk from Paddington Station, and very close to Kensington Gardens. Our first stay we were in 2 separate rooms, sharing bathrooms in the hall; the second time we were in the family room upstairs with en suite bathroom and the...

We booked the family room, which has a bunk bed, double bed and single bed with en suit bathroom. It was all clean and the perfect size for two adults and three kids. There is a warm English breakfast that is made for you by cheerful ladies when you enter the breakfast room. There is also a small courtyard for...
